Abstract: In order to improve the reliability evaluation to the distribution network, uncertainty factors about aging of components are considered under conventional reliability analysis of distribution system in the paper. The relationship between unavailability of aging of components and time (or limit age of components) is analyzed. Then the reliability indices are calculated by FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). Finally distribution network reliability level is distinguished and the measures on improving the power distribution system reliability are presented.

Abstract: This paper presents a new software test and evaluation process model. Under the new framework, testers involve from requirements analysis, get security requirements through security analysis; build risk profile operation, and gradually thin profile in analysis and design phase; automatically generate test cases from profile by tools and drive test work.

Abstract: In the reliability evaluation studies of the component-based Web system, the stated-based models and the path-based models suffer from the high time-consumption for the high complex web structures. In this paper, a SVM Reliability Evaluation Framework for the component-based Web system (SVMREF) with a low computational complexity is presented. SVMREF employs the Web component reliabilities as the SVM inputs and outputs the final reliability evaluation after the well-trained learning process. Our proposal has a low evaluation complexity and outperforms the state-based model and the path-based model. The experiment results and the analyses show that SVMREF has a better reliability evaluating convergence and SVMREM is evidently lower than the contrast models when the Web system structure is complex .

Abstract: Intrusion tolerance has been a key technology of system survivability. To cope with the absence of self-adaptability on existent intrusion tolerance system, an intrusion tolerant model based on autonomic computing is proposed, in which the reliability of the network connection is analyzed in real time to generate the initial reliability by an autonomic feedback mechanism, and the classification between suspicious information and confident information is guaranteed for implementing the tolerance on suspicious connections through the dynamic reliability optimization. The simulation results show that the intrusion tolerant model with autonomic feedback mechanism is desirable for enhancing the system’s self-adaptive performance, making it highly promising for further study.

Abstract: Reliability evaluation of the welded structure is divided by method concentrating on defect and mechanical property. Thermal power plant facilities are operated in high temperature, high pressure and called for safety guarantee. Three factors are constituted for this. The First is PSI(pre-service inspection) and the second is ISI(in-service inspection) and the third is quantitative analysis in safety. Main steam and hot reheat steam pipes in thermal power plant are frequently making a trouble because of unsuitable quality control under construction. So, the suitable construction and the development of life forecast method is urgent matter. Therefore, the continuous indentation technique is interested in effective test method of pipes in power plant facilities. This strong point of the continuous indentation technique is possibility of super-precision measurement, programmed test analysis, nondestructive stiffness evaluation. This study is focused on the possibility of the continuous indentation technique application in main steam and hot reheat steam pipes for stiffness evaluation in thermal power plant facilities.

Abstract: Reliability is most important to the CNC machine tools and reliability estimation is a very important part of the reliability which has magnificence to allocate resources and put forward scientific policy. Reliability evaluation of computer numerical control machine tools can use all sorts of effective information to decrease the size of test samples and save the development costs and shorten the production cycle. The paper put forward to use D-S evidence theory and the information of experts system to decrease the uncertainty of the reliability evaluation of computer numerical control machine tools. The results show that the method can effectively decrease the uncertainty of the reliability evaluation of computer numerical control machine tools.

Abstract: A survey of methods for characterizing threshold voltage (VT) drift when applied to commercial SiC DMOSFETs was conducted to explore how results can vary from one test to another. Typical linear-with-log-stress-time VT drift was observed with a rate of increase near 50–60 mV/dec for all methods. However, the magnitude of the drift varied greatly depending on the time delay between stress and measurement. A power law recovery ( ) common to all methods results in much smaller VT drifts when using slower methods, meaning long delays between stress and measurement can lead to tests that are unable to adequately discriminate bad devices from good.

Abstract: The failure data of the electromechanical product satisfies a certain law that a batch of failure data usually meet a variety of distributions at the same time. As to this phenomenon, an optimization method of evaluation model of reliability which is combined with the concept of entropy was put forward in this work. In the optimization process, several empirical models and multiple evaluation indexes were proposed for selecting a best model of reliability evaluation model, and entropy weight was defined to show the importance of evaluation indexes.

Abstract: The calculation of mean time between failures (MTBF) is of significance in reliability engineering. The precondition before calculation of MTBF is to make sure what failure model the numerical control (NC) system follows. For different distributions, the corresponding calculation methods of MTBF are always different. Undertaken a 2 year period of timing censored test with replacement of NC lathe, authors apply a type I censored likelihood function to make the distribution fitting of time between failures of NC system. The tests of goodness-of-fit applying Hollander’s method demonstrate that the time between failures of NC system follows the Weibull distribution. The conclusion not only deeply analyzes the NC system failure law, but also establishes the basis of calculation for the mean time between failures of NC system based on censored data with replacement.
