Abstract: The flow field of gas-liquid-solid three-phase hydrocyclone was analyzed by using the software FLUNET. We have researched different structural parameters on the effect of degassing and degritting. The result shows that the change of inverted cone length ratio, inverted cone diameter, the form of liquid outlet hole structure and the angle of vent structure have some influence on degassing and degritting. Simulation results provides a good technical support for the optimization design of three-phase hydrocyclone structure.

Abstract: A multi-objective structure optimization design of a car lower control arm was operated in order to improve both compliance and eigenfrequencies effectively. Based on SIMP (solid isotropic material penalization) method, compromise programming method was adopted to define multi-objective topology optimization. The topological structure of lower control arm was obtained through the optimization, and further, the new structure design. Results verified by FEA show that the new design can simultaneously satisfy the compliance and eigenfrequencies objective, and can meet yield stress requirements.

Abstract: Aiming to the problems of the pneumatic-hydraulic supercharging press such as only supporting small force and forming micropart of sheet metal or nonmetal, the pneumatic-hydraulic supercharging press of Lever Amplifier was designed integrated pneumatic-hydraulic with lever mechanism, it can support 30 Ton force. Its working parameters were calculated, its machine frame structure was built in virtue of Solidworks, supporting plate of PHSP frame were analyzed and optimized by FEM CosmosWorks. The result shows that thickness of supporting plate with two holes is superior, it deflection is small, this structure is simple, reliable, operating safe and convenient, the most important item is to put forward to the new-type press machine for thickness metal sheet forming.

Abstract: Structural optimization is widely adopted in the design of structures with the development of computer aided design (CAD) and the development of computer technique recently. By applying the artificial neural network to structural optimization, designers can gain the design scheme of structures more feasibly and easily. In this paper, the genetic algorithm (GA) used in the error back-propagation (BP) network is applied to get the optimization result of the structural system. And the training pair of BP neural network is obtained from the structural analysis using a finite element program. The case study of 10 member truss structure using GA and BP will be helpful to reduce the cost of structures which is related to weight and the dynamic performance of optimization under the lateral load.
