Abstract: At present, quantities of similar spurious signals have been found in the reconnaissance and there are electromagnetic leakage problems when each department of work does scientific experiment using varieties of signals that put forward new challenges to national defense and scientific research information security. Aiming at these situations, a new type of the regional environmental electromagnetic monitoring and signal identity system emerges to meet the practical need of electromagnetic environmental monitoring. This system monitors signals over small areas by using newest mixed domain signal analysis method and combining with virtual instrument, which let the desired research goal more convenient to be realized. The system with the characteristic of accuracy, usability, portability and expansibility can do efficiently electromagnetic environmental monitoring job and are practical and worthy of using abroad.

Digital carrier monitoring system is a new type of satellite communication spectrum monitoring system. It is based on software radio technology and is networked design, having realized functions of spectrum remote monitoring and networked virtual instrument. This article analyzed functions and working principals of this system, and summarized its application in earth station.

Abstract: By testing the running gear system with fault, the vibration signals of gear system are acquired at different speeds. Using wavelet de-noising by threshold to extract the useful feature signals, combining time-frequency analysis with intelligence detection theory of wavelet analysis, the feature signals are decomposed into different frequency bands. Then, according to the energy feature theory, the magnitude of energy in each frequency band is calculated to identify different faults in different running conditions successfully. Based on above all, it called the MATLAB Script Node in LabVIEW to process and diagnose the acquired feature signals with fault. And, a gear fault detection system, Virtual Instrument Diagnostic System, is developed by combining both advantages of LabVIEW and MATLAB, using hybrid programming method about both of them. The system possesses various functions like as: collection, analysis, feature extracting, fault detecting, diagnosis and so on. The results show that the diagnosis system runs well and can be used in the detection and diagnosis of actual operation system.

Abstract: A data acquisition platform for vehicle test is presented by combining virtual instrumentation technology with graphical programming environment of LabVIEW. Multiple modular instrumentations are employed for capturing different kinds of data from electronic transducers and CAN bus in synchronization. LabVIEW based software adopts QSM-PC (Queued State Machine Producer Consumer) architecture, which can perform functions of multi-channel, real-time data acquisition, processing, storage, and readback. The presented platform, taking advantages of high integratability and great scalability, is verified by real-vehicle experiments.

Abstract: This paper presents a level measurement system of the frequency modulation continuous wave (FMCW) radar. The procedure is designed by LabVIEW7.0. The system adopts FMCW radar sensor and high-quality data acquisition card. The marine tank level can be measured. For improving the precision of the level measurement, this paper presents an improved algorithm. By using this algorithm, we first adjust the sampling number based on current frequency for meeting the request of the integral period sampling, afterwards, the spectrum is corrected accurately. The experiment is completed by applying the algorithm in LabVIEW. The result shows that the improved algorithm can increase the frequency measure precision for 100 times and more than ordinary algorithms, the measurement error of the level is smaller then 5mm.

Abstract: A new detection method of weak signal mixed in strong noise is proposed. The method includes theory scheme, hardware and software. It detects and processes signal by using the instrument magnifying technology and single-chip microcomputer control. By means of virtual instrumentation simulation and display, this design provides effective methods to detect µA-level weak signal in piezoelectric infrared detector. Through the experiment of simulate low frequency weak signal detection, the system fully reveals its practicality and superiority in the field of lower S/N signal detection.

Abstract: This thesis offers a kind of multiple channels data acquisition device & system based on the sound card. The device converts input signals into frequency signals, and sound card collects the frequency signals. Then the frequency signals collected is restored into input signals by software. By doing so, it resolves the problem which the sound card can’t collect low frequency signals or dc signals. Meanwhile, using a piece of MCU controls the multi-channel analog switch, and the MCU also issues multi-path identification signals to the sound card. So the function of multiple signals collection is achieved.

Abstract: Rotary precision of the lathe spindle directly affects accuracy of the machined work-piece. With continuous improvement on requirements of rotary precision of the lathe spindle, a more accurate measurement method is needed to adopt to reflect actual shape precision of unprocessed part. Some advanced measurement principle and methods about rotary precision of the lathe spindle are researched, and also the measurement error is analyzed. The measurement result gotten by sensor concludes two parts, one is eccentric error caused by installation of the base ball, and the other is rotary error of the lathe spindle. The eccentric error is separated by the way of filter, as well as the rotary error is quickly and correctly measured by unidirectional digital measurement. The rotary error is superimposed on a base circle generated by algorithm. The roundness error is assessed by MZC. At last, verifying the feasibility of the new measurement method by means of real experiment.

Abstract: It is often needed in engineering that detecting and analyzing vibration signal of some equipment. To meet the requirement, a portable detecting and analytic instrument was designed using virtual instrument concept. In the instrument, notebook computer was used as the platform of hardware. Vibration signal was obtained by integrated piezoelectric acceleration sensor (DTS0104T), and was transferred to a notebook computer through data acquisition card (NI USB-6210) based on USB bus. The software, running on the notebook computer, was developed under LabVIEW. Vibration signal could be displayed on screen, recorded in disk or printed by printer, retrieved, and analyzed. The analysis functions of the instrument include: time-domain analysis, frequency-domain analysis, time-frequency domain analysis, and correlation analysis. The instrument is compact, portable, powerful, and with friendly interfaces, has broad application prospects.
