Abstract: As the high-rise building springs, pumping height of concrete becomes higher, which leads to futility of common property indexes to evaluate the concrete pumpability. This paper proposed a test method on concrete rheological properties to quantize its pumpability and established evaluation method on concrete pumpability to make some exploration regarding the scientifically reasonable control on concrete quality.

Abstract: We employ density functional theory to investigate TiAl3/Al interfaces with the orientation of (001) [100]Al//(001)[100]TiAl3 by electronic structures, relaxed atomic geometries and adhesions. The preferable interfacial atomic structure is that wherein Al atoms continue on the natural stacking sequence of bulk TiAl3. Two types of TiAl3 (001) slabs, Ti-centered, all Al atoms, are adopted to compare interfacial energy, interfacial electronic structure. The calculated adhesion energies Wad of the two types of interface are very close, and are quantitatively in agreement with other calculated results of Al on the carbide and nitride, but much lower than the (111)Al[1 0]Al//(0001)TiB2[11 0]TiB2 adhesion energy. We have thoroughly characterized the electronic structure and determined that the metallic Al-3p and Ti-3d bonding constitute the primary interfacial bonding interaction.

Abstract: Metallic hollow sphere structure cellular material is a type of super-light cellular metallic material. Its basic cell is thin-walled metallic hollow sphere. A series of quasi-static uniaxial compression experiments of two spheres array, three spheres array and tetrahedral packing structure were conducted. It is found that one sphere produces deformation at the contact place of two spheres, and the deformation is larger than that at the contact place of plates. The three spheres array and tetrahedral packing structure have the same phenomenon. Then, the Young’s moduli of these three models had been studied, and it is found that the tetrahedral packing structure has a larger value than the others. The compressive deformation behaviors of two and three spheres with the spheres glued together were studied too. These research findings can be the basis of the design of MHS structure cellular material.
