Abstract: On 22th May 2013, the courtship and mating behavior of the False viper (Macropisthodon rudis) during and after its meal in the field of South China was observed. The entire process by means of video recording and the whole event observation methods was described in this paper. Compared with the published reports about related investigaions of courtship and mating behavior of other colubrids, we found that the courtship and mating behavior pattern of the False viper is similar to other colubrids, but we didnt observe any sign of male biting female during its courtship and mating, which is an obvious fact in some other colubrids species and the male didnt show strong control freak during copulation and it appeared a rare phenomenon that two males hemipenial inserted into one females cloaca at the same time.

Abstract: This paper attempts to put forward new ideas for the design of residential building in severe cold region by discussing the different life style in Harbin, finds a suitable design method and scheme for the residential building design in the cold area. The residents in the cold region have a unique life style because of the unique features of climate. So when they design the buildings, the designers and architects should take into consideration of the local people’s way of life, and create the unique buildings suitable for the cold area.

Abstract: For effectively solving human behavior recognition in video surveillance, a novel behavior recognition model is presented. New behaviors may be produced in the process of human motion, hierarchical Dirichlet process is used to cluster monitored feature data of human body to decide whether unknown behaviors occur or not. The infinite hidden Markov model is used to learn unknown behavior patterns with supervised method, and then update the knowledge base. When knowledge base reaches a certain scale, the system can analyze human behaviors with unsupervised method. The Viterbi decoding algorithm of HMM is adopted to analyze current behavior of the human motion. The simulation experiments show that this method has unique advantage over others.
