Abstract: In this paper, a steering wheel angle and torque acquisition program consisted of a steering wheel angle and torque sensor, 16-bit Σ-A/D converter, SCM and CAN bus chip is described. It describes the A / D conversion, angle and torque values calculation , CAN Communication and host computer acquisition software implementation and other important processes for the method. On this basis, the steering wheel angle and torque data collection realization is finished,and it has operated in the actual vehicle environments. The results show that the system is of high precision, good stability, and it is suitable for driving behavior tests and vehicle handling and stability test.

Abstract: In the design of CAN network system, as CAN bus topology will affect network performance and cost, it is important to optimize the network topology. This paper analyzes the CAN busload based on CAN protocol, calculates the upper limit of transmission message frames in a single CAN bus. As the amount of information on the bus is increasing, a single CAN bus cannot meet the communication requirements, we put forward dividing the network into multiple homogeneous segments via multi-objective optimization method, developing a genetic algorithm strategy and solving the problem in a MATLAB platform. Finally utilize the method to design a pure electric vehicle network topology.

Abstract: Based on information pipeline technology, a clock soft synchronization method used in distributed measurement and control system is proposed. Using a separate information pipeline, the synchronization information is broadcasted to nodes in the distributed measurement and control system by synchronization node every message transaction cycle time, and all nodes automatically synchronize the local clock after receiving it. We analyze the theoretical synchronization error and verify this clock soft synchronization method in CAN bus. The theory analysis and experimental results indicate that the synchronization error mainly consists of propagation delay error, drift error and CAN loop delay error, and it increases linearly with the increasing of transmission distance.

Abstract: In view of the shortcoming such as wiring difficulties, poor scalability, and big cable usage in present mine security monitoring system, this paper puts forward a kind of substation monitoring and control system based on ZIGBEE and CAN. With the core of core, The system collects various measurement data of sensors through the ZIGBEE wireless network, realizes the to collect, and then through the CAN bus to realize the transmission of control commands and data of the up and down machine, and monitor the production parameters and environmental parameters in the coal mine. Experiments show that the monitoring substation is of high real-time performance, good stability, strong expansibility, etc., and can meet the requirements of the coal mine development and mining.

Abstract: In order to solve the existing automatic fire alarm system shortcomings, such as high rate of false positives and poor reliability, this paper introduces an intelligent fire alarm system in the composition of MCU based on the CAN bus technology. The system, with the control core of STM32F103, uses multiple sensor information fusion technology to realize the fire warning, and adopts the advanced CAN bus technology to realize efficient, reliable and economic connections between the sensor and the fire linkage. Practice shows that the system is of high real-time, accuracy, and can meet the requirements of fire control in buildings.

Abstract: There are 5 kinds of bus networks on armored vehicles. The current vehicle serial bus test equipments are not universal to different kind bus system. And can just complete the performance test to DLL, cannot test the buss physical electrical performance. This paper brings forward a new data acquisition method to universal buses based on software decoding, The data acquisition experiments to CAN and 1553B bus with their corresponding bus nodes have been completed.

Abstract: Due to high correspondence speed, great real-time performance and good expansibility, CAN bus has been used widely in aerospace, large-scale equipments and other fields these years .This paper introduces a kind of CAN Bus Test Instrument based on PXI bus and FPGA, which is used to test and monitor the CAN bus equipment. The result of test shows that this kind of test instrument has great advantages in reliability, stability and extensibility.

Abstract: In order to avoid communication conflicts in DNC systems, the scheduling tactics adopting a modified guaranteed EDF algorithm to DNC systems’ numerical control (NC) programs transmission was proposed. A condition was given to guarantee all NC machines in DNC systems work continuously. A mathematic model based on the actual expending rate of NC program was established to decide the priority of NC program transformation of all NC machines. A constraint condition for two machines with neighbored priority was proposed to avoid the conflict in the scheduling times. A dynamic scheduling scheme was presented for DNC systems. The validity of the presented method is verified by the practical tests.

Abstract: A self-adaptive battery management system (BMS) based on CAN-bus for power Li-ion battery was designed in this paper. It is designed distributed and composed of sampling modules, a master module and some aid devices. The sampling module is used to sampling the voltage of the cells and the temperature in the pack. And it keeps the temperature in safe range by controlling the fans in the pack. The master module receives the information from the sampling modules, samples the current of the main road, estimates the state of charge (SOC), the state of health (SOH), controls the main road relays. The modules communicate with each other by CAN-bus. The fault and temperature management are performed adaptively. It is shown that this self-adaptive BMS extend the battery lifetime and guarantee safe operation. And the self-power consumption is very low.
