Abstract: In this paper, a new adaptive control strategy for synchronization of switched chaotic systems with uncertainties is developed. Using adaptive control theory and common Lyapunov function method, An adaptive controller is constructed, and a sufficient condition is attainted for the stability of the error dynamic between drive and response switched chaotic systems with uncertainty under arbitrary switching. The results of simulation are given to show effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract: A method of adaptive synchronization of one-dimensional discrete chaotic systems on complex networks is proposed. The nodes of complex networks are constructed by one-dimensional discrete chaotic systems, we consider a general drive-response synchronization model of one-dimensional discrete chaotic systems on complex dynamical networks. Based on the adaptive control technique, the parameter adaptive laws and property conversion laws are given to achieve synchronization and parameters identification simultaneously. Simulation results show that the arithmetic average and geometric mean of all the nodes states are equal, furthermore, the unknown node parameters can be successfully identified, all nodes are transformed to drive nodes. This indicates that chaos synchronization is reached in the whole networks.

Abstract: The basic form of Duffing equation is firstly analyzed in this paper; and then, it describes the principle of weak signal detection based on the change of phase trace. In view of some key questions existing in weak signal detection based on chaos, a new system is put forward, which detects weak signal utilizing chaotic synchronization characteristics. Utilizing the system, the critical problems of existing in weak signal detection based on chaos can be solved, and that, a imitation experiment validates the project, as a result, the research in the paper provides the foundation of putting chaotic synchronization into practice application to weak signal detection.

Abstract: A chaos communication system in semiconductor lasers is proposed. Based on the idea of drive-response synchronization, taking the one-way coupled external cavity semiconductor laser with feedback system as an example, we discuss the principle, numerical simulation of chaotic synchronization and analyze the laser parameter mismatch on the synchronization performance.

Abstract: In this paper, chaos synchronization of the modified Sprott E system is investigated. Firstly, the chaotic attractors on different phase planes of the system are got by means of numerical simulation. When , the abundance dynamical behavior of the system is presented by the global bifurcation graph. Then, the chaos synchronization of the system by the full state hybrid projective synchronization (FSHPS) method is realized.

Abstract: Light-emitting diodes with optoelectronic feedback loop display complex sequences of periodic mixed mode oscillations and chaotic spiking. In this paper, we propose an adaptive neural control scheme for chaos synchronization of two unidirectional coupled LED systems. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, the controller can stabilize the synchronization error dynamics at the origin point, thus chaos synchronization can be obtained. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

Abstract: Analyzing the problem of the existed chaotic masking secure communication, given a new chaotic communication method with the separation between chaos synchronization control signal and chaos modulated signal. A chaotic pilot signal is used independently to synchronize the chaos of the communication transceiver, it is a better solution for the original chaotic communication systems in which the information signal is much smaller than the chaotic modulation signal and anti-noise performance is poor. The circuit simulation based on Sprott system I was built to verify the new method of chaotic communication. Simulation results show that it is more flexible to achieve synchronization between communication terminals, more accurate for chaos synchronization, high performance of anti-noise, and the strength of the information signal is no affected by the chaotic signal.

Abstract: We build up a model of chaotic optical communication based on semiconductor ring laser (SRL). The modulation and demodulation technique is numerically applied in order to demonstrate the communication performance and the security effect. The results indicate that good transmission and security performance can be achieved with the appropriate transmission data rate and modulation depth in SRL-based chaotic optical communication.

Abstract: In this paper, dynamics and synchronization of the fractional-order Sprott E system are investigated. Firstly, the chaotic attractor of the system is got by means of numerical simulation. Then based on the stability theory of fractional-order systems, the synchronization of the system is realized. Numerical simulations are carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the controllers.
