Abstract: Highway is the primary foundation establishment of a city. Exact and timely evaluation for pavement condition plays an important role in keeping trafic flowing and safe, reducing accident, and bringing into play the estabhsh function of roadways. Base on the attribute recognition theory which makes efect identification and analysis for things, the attribute recognition model of evaluation for pavement condition is discussed, and the power weight is developed with the entropy method, which avoids the subjectivity and increases the reliability. This model introduced a simple and efective appraisal method of highway pavement condition.

Abstract: Waterproofing is one of the key problems of underground structures. Spray-on waterproofing membrane is a new system in tunnels with single shell linings. The conditions of the application of this system are analyzed in terms of the deformation and surface condition of the first layer of the shotcrete shell, water ingress and water pressure behind the waterproofing membrane. The results show that the applications of a spray-on waterproofing membrane in a tunnel is possible if the deformation of the shotcrete and water pressures behind the sprayed membrane is properly controlled, as well as the ingress water is piped or tightened with practical measures. Proposals of measures to meet the conditions are presented for the application of the spray-on waterproofing membrane in tunnels.

Abstract: The research of the optimal conditions of achievement of robotic assembling requires the determination of the restrictions imposed by the characteristics of the desired assembling. To analyze the requirements imposed to the assembling robot in the elaborated paper there have been considered Petri Graphs with dynamic markings. These schemes permit a synthetic representation of the assembling process and they praise clearly the active phases of the robot.

Abstract: Based on the tool of the ANSYS Workbench software, the modeling of three-dimensional Entity, meshing and dealing of loads and constraints has been done on the pipelayer’boom. According to the finite element analysis of pipelayer’boom in three basic conditions by the parameter of width, height and thickness, the material consumption of making boom is significantly reduced. All this is done in the premise of ensuring the safety of pipelayer’ boom with the objective of minimizing the quality by the finite element optimization. And the results will be the theoretical basis of the design and improvement of Pipelayer’ boom.

Abstract: The waste cooking oils was prepared into biodiesel by transesterification. The optimum conditions are: waste oil 73 g, temperature 60°C, methanol solution25 ml, NaOH amount 1.0 g and reaction time 60 min. The properties of biodiesel are close to that of 0# diesel.

Abstract: In this paper, the new technique involving comparison and optimization of conditions for Magnetic Abrasive Finishing (MAF) is suggested, taking into account the basic laws stated for process MAF. The formulas for the calculation of the criteria for optimization are created when the process MAF is used for polishing, removal of burrs, and other purposes. The application of the technique is shown in an experiment on the optimization conditions for the removal of burrs after drilling using the MAF method. The technique can be used after standards for this process are developed.

Abstract: Fabrication of self-assembled film used 792(silane coupling agent), citric acid, boric acid and triethanolamine as the main materials. Through orthogonal experiment and the single factor analysis experiment, the optimum technological conditions are 792 10mL·L-1, citric acid 24g·L-1, boric acid 8g·L-1, triethanolamine 7.5mL·L-1, temperature 20~21°C, time 10min. Simulated sea water (3% Sodium chloride) is applied to measure the effects of the film. The results show that the processing is simple, tank liquor is stable, and film is uniform, dense and colorless.

Abstract: The eleventh five-year plan for national economic and social development of China identified fours types of development priority zones. The twelfth five-year plan continues to emphasize the development priority zones strategy. This paper discusses the western urbanization in China in the background of four types of development priority zones. Through the interpretation of the restricted development zone, this paper analyzes the practical conditions and path selections for the western urbanization, concluding that the best path for the western urbanization will be the ecological economic urbanization under the constraints of restricted development priority zone’s policies.
