Abstract: Service-oriented manufacturing is a new manufacturing paradigm in workshop level. To clarify configuration issues of service-oriented manufacturing executive system (so-MES), a conceptual framework and hierarchical structure model are put forward. The framework consists of three modules: the manufacturing resource distribution, the process-flow planning, the sensor and inspection planning. And then, methodology for enabling the framework is presented in detail. Finally, a simple example is provided to verify the proposed method.

Abstract: The paper gives a new configuration method for Multi-FPGA systems based on XCF32P. As an example, the method adopts slave SelectMAP model, uses a XCF32P and a CPLD XC9572 to configure four Virtex XCV200 FPGAs. The configuration hardware interface circuit and CPLD software control program are designed, due to adopt a single vendor solution program, the designs for software and hardware of systems are simplified, and it can receive a higher configuration rate.

Abstract: In this paper, a new pattern of software design was put forward by the research of traditional design pattern, which is based on configuration conception to design software. The application of configuration conception in some software system was discussed in detail.

Abstract: Product variation and customization is a trend in current market-oriented manufacturing environment. Product configuration is the key technology in this customization environment. But complex customer requirements are still hard to resolve. So the purpose of this study is to offering a new intelligent configuration algorithm to this problem, which is based on Product Family Genealogy Model (PFG). Characteristics of customer group, modules and product platform are discussed to build a PFG model - a hierarchy of reasonable configuration models. Based on it, both the customer requirements and constraints are classified and treated respectively. So the product configuration task can be easily accomplished by four sequenced stages i.e. “PFG position”, “key configuration”, “basic configuration”, and “form configuration”. Finally, an example of desktop configuration is presented to demonstrate this approach.

Abstract: Moored systemsof floating platforms typically have mooring lines in groups,attached to hull of the platform in different configurations.Study on therestoring behaviour of these systemsfor variousparameters of mooring lines gives an insight to decide on the preliminary design of platforms.This paper includesparametric study on the behaviour of mooring systems for various symmetric, asymmetric configurations of the lines. To compute the restoring forces of the mooring system,quasi-static analysis has been adopted and a MATLAB code named QSAML has been developed, validated with experimental tests and used for the parametric study.It has been observed that, the restoring capability of mooring system reduces whenthe lines are placed away from the wave heading.For any wave heading, the variation in restoring behaviour of mooring system with symmetric configurations is insignificant up to relatively small excursions of the platform.

Abstract: According to the requirement of multi-devices access to the computer in intelligent building monitoring system, combined with the principle of the upper computers data acquisition and the principle of configuration software, this paper proposes auppercomputerdata acquisition model by simulating the equipment into channels and the model is based on double buffers sampling technology. The model adopts the principle of device drivers;different equipments computer modules access to the model in the form of plug-ins.

Abstract: A lumped mass method is presented to analyze the tension force subjected by flexible mattress and its configuration. The method can take account of the elastic extension, non-uniform mass distribution of the mattress and the acting force due to flowing water. Through comparison between calculation results of this paper and catenary theory, it verifies the lumped mass method is more applicable for analysis of flexible mattress in real fluvial environment than commonly used catenary theory.

Abstract: The applicability and durability proportions of the main structures in concrete bridge were determined based on AHP, and the influence degree of different influencing factors on applicable and durable structures of concrete bridge were also analysised, which laid the foundations of applicable and durable configurations study of concrete bridge.

Abstract: The amount of investment in the information technology facilities continue to improve, but the use of information resources is far from the desired target and resources are not utilized effectively,. The lower level configuration is gradually emerging. Cloud computing can help improve effective, rational, and scientific use of information resources to promote the information resource utility, thus contributing to the sustainable development of the information industry. The article from the economic point of view, especially from the economic utility and cost saving view, analyze the economic value of cloud computing configuration. Thus, It demonstrate the positive economic value of technological revolution application mode represented by the cloud computing from the point of view of economics.
