Abstract: Refineries are major CO2 emitters, so it is imperative for them to conserve energy and reduce CO2 emissions; biomass is undoutedly of great significance to alleviate the dual pressures resulting from energy crisis and emissions constraints. This paper, by analyzing emission reduction potential of our national petrochemical enterprises and the three main emissions reduction measures-Fuel alternative, carbon utilization and process optimization-taken by refineries in China, proposes that, under the dual pressures from energy crisis and greenhouse effects, importance should be attached to the development and utilization of biomass energy and new refining systems suitable for biomass energy should be built; what’s more, three proposals are suggested for setting up them, including establishing new refining system at remote areas to ensure the adequate supply of raw materials, and creating matched power generation system and new device structure for biomass characteristics. Thereby, a major breakthrough can be made to ease the energy crisis, to truly achieve the aim of energy conservation and “Eat the grass and produce the milk”.

Abstract: The developmental trend of the future cities is to create a low-carbon and energy-saving city, and the development will boost the design of current residential community planning. By a case study of Yilongwan Community in Changzhi City, technical requirements for construction of low-carbon ecological community are analyzed from the aspects of planning and layout, landscape construction and low-carbon technology in this paper. The analysis presents some shortages in the construction and they are described in details by this paper. Finally, the development strategy is proposed in this paper.

Abstract: Energy conservation or energy saving is one of the most important methods for reducing CO2 emissions, which is known to be associated with global warming. Although development of renewable energy sources such as solar or wind energy is necessary, we must first pay attention to the fact that enormous amounts of energy are consumed uselessly at present. Energy saving should therefore be one of the first problems to be tackled. It may not only bring reductions in CO2 emission, but also may lead to savings in expenditure on energy. This paper introduces some of the initiatives taking place in Japan aimed at energy conservation.

Abstract: According to the Twelfth Five-year Program, China is a big energy consumption country and the energy shortages have constrained the development of China's economy. Of all the energy, one third is used by vehicles. More than 10 million barrels of oil is needed a day due to the new vehicles annually. While only in Beijing the bad driving habit will lead to three billion liters of oil consumption per year. Besides, the emission of vehicles is also the mainly resource of environmental pollution. Recently, many place of our country has thick frog and haze which has something to do with the increasing vehicles. In this paper, we’ll describe bad driving habit and explain how they lead to fuel consumption and environment pollution in detail through theoretical analyze and experiment. By guiding drivers using proper driving skill can not only reduce fuel consumption but also protect our environment which has practical significance.

Abstract: An energy saving control system of Mining Street LED light is designed Based on SCM, improving the lights wastage in the process of coal mine production. The energy-saving LED is used suitable for the vehicle past situation and environment. The overall design and module analysis is described .The Practice has proved that the control system has a good economic and practical value designed by SCM as the core, LED light source as energy-saving lamps.

Abstract: The optimal energy saving routing algorithm proposed in this paper is based on the shortest path tree. This algorithm introduces the concept of node classification and builds the weight function based on link energy consumption factor, neighbor node’s residual energy factor and type weight and so on. It uses different weight factor according to different types of nodes, and finally generates the shortest path tree, all nodes send data to sink node along the shortest path tree. The simulation results show that the algorithm can prolong the network life time, balance energy consumption of each node, and reduce the average network delay.

Abstract: This research is study of the air conditioning by used fuzzy logic control to analysis. It will take into account the energy savings and the room temperature remained in range of comfort zone for the resident's satisfaction. To control % AC compressor and fan speed. The system was simulated and designed simulation model of fuzzy logic controlled on Matlab program to monitor energy consumption and temperature of the room. The results indicate that thermal comfort of the room together with energy saving can be obtained through fuzzy logic controlled .At a temperature setting of 25 °C and defined heat load in the room, the energy saving for the system is calculated to 30.77 % for fuzzy controllers when compared with on-off condition.

Abstract: Triammonium citrate was manufactured by using neutralization of citric acid solution with liquid ammonia directly. Compared with conventional route using ammonium bicarbonate or aqueous ammonia as neutralizer, the method has advantages of simple technology process, 100% raw materials utilization ratio and totally zero emission during mass production;while the raw materials utilization ratio was only 22.8% and 48.6% for using ammonium bicarbonate or aqueous ammonia as neutralizer under the same conditions. Furthermore, the proposed green route to production of triammonium citrate will save at least 813.3 kJ and 948.4 kJ of energy for manufacturing each kilogram of product than using NH4HCO3 and NH3•H2O (25%) as neutralizer, respectively. Abstract: Generally, the electro-hydraulic system (EHS) has force and position controls. The control of these parameters to the desired value multiple PID controllers are often used, which are sensitive to changes in system parameters. In addition, the existing EHS is often used as a single proportional direction control valve (PDCV) to control those parameters that cause loss and waste energy. Therefore, in this paper, a fuzzy controller is proposed to control force and position. Simultaneously, the EHS that is used for control will be added the inverter to adjust the speed of the electric motor (EM) to drive a fixed displacement gear pump, and a proportional pressure relief valve (PPRV), in order to save energy. A proposed fuzzy controller and the EHS are implemented to the hydraulic press. The experimental results showed that the hybrid of force and position control by using a fuzzy controller has a superior performance compared to the multiple PID controllers. Moreover, the proposed EHS is also more effective in saving power consumption than conventional EHS.
