Abstract: Adjusting plate design method of pantograph based on envelope theory is explored in this article. When pantograph is raising at a constant rate, the loads on adjusting plate are considered. Envelope theory is used to establish the adjusting plate design method of pantograph. Finally, Design method based on envelope theory in the application of V500 pantograph proves the feasibility and effectiveness.

Abstract: The actual trend of civil engineering leads to quality improving of housing and to saving of all participated energies. Airtightness of buildings´ envelope constructions has an important job in the point of view of energy savings and energy economy. Undesirable air flow occurs through joints, cracks and leaks in building envelopes. It has a significant influence to final quality of an indoor environment and energy demands and needs of warmth for heating resulting from it. The paper presents results of chosen airtightness measurements made in family and apartment buildings in the Slovak Republic, the achieved level of airtightness by various construction systems and outer walls, as well as which impact for air changes has location and selection of materials used for airtightness layer in the construction of outer walls at pressure difference of 50 Pa (n50).

Abstract: This paper describes the design of a rig devoted to testing rolling bearings. In order to control the signal-to-noise ratio of the measures, a potentially very silent test rig has been designed and assembled, with the possibility of simply changing the bearing under investigation as well as its load level and rotating speed. Acceleration data have then been examined by means of envelope, wavelet transform and cyclostationarity analyses, showing that the testing machine fulfils its task.

Abstract: The paper analyses the compensation error which is caused by the probe radius of shape measurement instrument with the theory of envelope, and the model of the probe center is established. After having coordinates of envelope point corresponding to data point, actual curve equation has been obtained by using non-uniform B-spline curve. Finally, the effect is simulated and analysed by Matlab, and the result shows that the method of data processing has high precision.

Abstract: The major objective of this paper is to optimize the relationship insurance energy source - high thermal insulation of the building envelope analyzed in order to minimize the financial effort incurred by the beneficiary. In this respect, the paper proposes a methodology for analyzing the financial perspective of the relation envelope - equipment that capitalizes renewable energy sources, built on a newer concept - optimal cost.

Abstract: The VIPs consist of the glass-fiber core material and two types of envelope film. The glass fiber was fabricated by a centrifugal blowing process. The core material was prepared by the wet method. The thermal conductivities of the materials were measured by the heat flow meter. The microstructure of the envelope film was observed by scanning electron microscopy. The porosity ratio and largest pore size diameters of the core materials are 92.27% and 20μm, respectively. The thermal conductivity of the VIP is about 8-10 times higher than that of the core materials. The thickness of type I and II envelope films are 45μm and 400μm, respectively. The thermal conductivities of the type I and type II envelope films are 0.11W/(m•K) and 0.69W/(m•K), respectively. The thermal conductivity of the VIP with type II envelope is higher than that of the VIP with type I envelope, which is attributed to the different structures and thickness of the envelope film.

Abstract: Stratospheric airship is capable of station-keeping at high altitude in precondition of the balance of buoyancy and weight and of thrust and drag. Based on computation process, when some initial technology guidelines and conditions are supposed, the size of airship is gained and it is analyzed that certain technology guideline has more or less influence on length and payload of airship. It is concluded from the analyses that envelope mass/area ratio had the largest effect on key elements of airship, such as length and payload etc. Meanwhile, based on some available design parameters of typical traditional-shape airships being in development, the envelope mass/area ratio required for corresponding airships is scheduled for station-keeping at destine altitude and several technology approaches are proposed.

Abstract: In profile envelope process of form cutter for involute gear, the grinding depth is variable which causes grinding force to change on a large scale and the profile error of envelope to increase. To improve form cutter accuracy, a closed-loop control system was designed to accomplish control of envelope process. For complicated dynamic process, fuzzy controller is used to adjust parameters online. By measuring grinding force, characteristic information of grinding process is acquired. Regulation factor of feed rate is determined by grinding force ratio, force deviation and its change rate used as evaluation indexes. Thus, fuzzy control of constant force grinding process is accomplished. Simulation and cutter grinding test indicates that the system has high precision and stability, and reduces cutter error effectively.

Abstract: To resolve the problems of short working life and narrow operating voltage range of the spark gap with one-offin gas filling structure, a spark gap with repeatable gas filling structure was designed. The spark gap was composed of three electrodes and two gaps as well as gas filling devices. Electrodes structures adopted the form of field aberration three-electrode gas spark switch forming two discharge gaps between three electrodes of anode, cathode and triggering electrode. Gas filling devices were composed of fast connector, gas pipe, barometer and air valve, by which the gaps could be repeatedly charged and deflated from a hole at the center of anode. Working life is lengthened by exchanging gas, and operating voltage range is widened by changing gas pressure in a certain range. The spark gap was manufactured and applied successfully in a TEA CO2 laser with pulse energy 170J. The results prove the designs feasible.
