Abstract: In this paper, a new method is proposed for synthesis of property-based allocation networks. By analogy of concentration potential concepts proposed by Liu et al. (A heuristic design procedure for water-using networks with multiple contaminants, AIChE Journal, 2009; 55: 374-382) for the water-using networks, a new concept: the operator potential of sinks is introduced in this work. The operator potential of a sink is a measurement of the possibility of the sink to reuse the internal source streams. The sink with the lowest operator potential will be satisfied first. A literature example is studied to show the method proposed. The result shows that the method proposed in this work is very simple and the results obtained are consistent with those obtained in the literature.

Abstract: With the changes of domestic environmental policy, the curriculum provision of environmental engineering should be continuous improved. This paper analyzes the current teaching situation of environmental engineering and brings up rationalization proposals. According to the found problems of theory course, experimental course and practical training, it is very necessary to adjust the training program and curriculum system of environmental engineering. The specific measures are adding some new courses to teaching system, and changing the assessment methods. There are different characteristics among theory course, experimental course and different courses, so the teaching methods and assessment methods are different, too.

Abstract: Travel and Tourism Scenic Area as a sensitive, vulnerable to a variety of external factors influence and interference. Thesis, the tourist attractions environmental assessment method proposed some tourist attractions environmental factors, and to establish the corresponding mathematical models, numerical simulation results of the analysis of mathematical models of specific environmental assessment method for tourism, study results showed that tourist attractions environmental evaluation system can effectively predict tourist attractions environmental carrying capacity, environmental trends, which can effectively play a role in early warning for area management.

Abstract: Hubei Shiyan is the largest city in the source of South to North Water Diversion Project in China. The City District has 100 km of river, along cross-strait with high-rise buildings, dense population, and coverged sewage straight flow to the river. In our paper, the design of "Ming change dark" river closure project can fundamental solve the city environmental pollution problems, improve the source water quality without any menace from the "rear", and make Shiyan's green economy grow rapidly. On the other hand, this "city agriculture" new thinking will completely change the serious situation of arable land area which is decreasing year by year in the world.

Abstract: In order to recover the urban sewage energy ,a lab-scale equipment for the sewage energy recovery based on water source heat pump was developed and researched experimentally .The technique of indirect heat exchange by the plastic-Al pipe to recover the urban sewage energy, i.e., the corrosion of the heat exchanger, laying the foundation for the practical utilization of sewage energy. The experimental results show that the developed system is favorable to the environment protection and energy conservation, satisfying the cooling duty requirement with the average coefficient of performance 4.15 in the open cycle system and the average coefficient of performance 3.64 in the close cycle system.

Abstract: The leaching behavior of hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) and major metal elements relevant to Cr(VI) leaching from chromite ore processing residue (COPR) to HNO3 are investigated by batch leaching tests. According to the test results, aqueous Cr(VI) accounted for 70-80% of the content of total Cr. Cr(VI) concentration was controlled by the dissolution degree of Cr(VI)-bearing minerals (such as hydroandradite) as the pH value ranged from 7.58 to 10.47, and by the adsorption degree of Cr(VI) on metal amorphous precipitates as pH value ranged from 6.18 to 7.58. It takes time for the penetration of acid into COPR and the release of alkalinity from the interior zone of particles. So, it could be speculated that the fine-sized particles would react with acid more effectively. 14mol HNO3 per 1kg COPR is needed to maintain the pH value to achieve 7.5 for 48 hours. This indicates the acid neutralization capacity of the test sample is relatively large. It suggests that the application of acid treatment method for COPR disposal is feasible but costly.

Abstract: The present status about wastewater treatment at highway affiliated facilities of China including characteristics of wastewater and treatment technology, the effect of wastewater treatment were investigated. It was found that wastewater quantity was mainly depending on traffic volume entering the service area. Integrated process of wastewater treatment was the main technology used at highway affiliated facilities. 80.4% of the total devices discharge the water which can meet the “Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard (8978-1996)”. About 69.6% of water was discharged into the road ditches, 22.2% was used for greening and flushing toilet. 3.9% of water evaporated naturally, 2.7% of water was discharged into the river, and only 1.6% was used for agricultural irrigation. The results provided scientific reference for the construction, improvement and management of wastewater treatment device at highway affiliated facilities by relevant departments in the future.

Abstract: The environmental bearing capacity of tourism resources has important significance for the sustainable development of tourism scenic spot. Papers from the relationship between the number of tourists and scenic environment between the established model, and model analysis obtained by the specific relationship between the number of visitors and the number of environmental pollution levels. By analyzing the results in favor of tourism environmental systems and components, and accurately grasp the scale between tourism development and resource protection, and development of tourism resources can be scientific.
