Abstract: This paper analyzes the deformation and strength under horizontal dynamic load of the model which acquired the first prize on the 3rd Structural Design Contest of Shandong Universities. The bearing capacity and stability of the model are verified by loading experiment. This contest provides a platform for college students to broaden their view and practice their innovation ideas. This contest make students’ creative thinking get a full training and display.

Abstract: In milling operations, cutting edge impacts due to the interaction between the cutter and the workpiece excite vibrations. It is possible to distinguish between free, forced and self-excited vibrations. Chatter is a self-excited vibration that can occur in machining processes, and is considered to be a common limitation of productivity and quality. Stability lobes diagrams (SLDs) show the frontier between chatter-free milling operations, i.e. stable dominated by forced vibrations, and operations with chatter, i.e. unstable. These diagrams are usually obtained from impact hammer testing. However, this method requires trained personnel with advanced knowledge and it is not easily applied in engineering studies or operator training. This paper presents an experimental method that allows engineering students and operators-in-training to observe the chatter phenomenon and to distinguish between forced and chatter vibrations and identify process stability diagrams.

Abstract: Surface roughness influences the performance of a finished part. In machining operations, the surface roughness generated is influenced by an enormous set of factors. In ball end milling operations, the geometric characteristics of the cut clearly affect the surface crests generated. This paper presents an experimental methodology that permits engineering students to identify and analyze the surface roughness. The methodology is applicable to training courses and surface texture generation as well.

Abstract: In our country, the training target and cultivation mode of mechanical engineering in universities seems to akin to each other. Besides that, undergraduate students have their own limitations in knowledge, cognitive performance and thinking model. Aiming at that fact, we have set up “an educational mode of multi-level cooperation to personalized cultivate mechanical engineers’ innovation quality” and implemented that effectively through a long time of research and exploration. Furthermore, we have gradually formed a comparative impeccable personalized educational mode in the aspects of training target, talents training scheme, course system, educational mode, teaching evaluation and then constructed a smooth personalized cultivation and management mechanism, personalized training level and teaching contents focusing on the whole progress of education, flexible teaching method and advanced teaching means, a high quality teaching team with composite construction, showing a unique individualized teaching style and personalized teaching quality. We have achieved obvious teaching benefits, educational benefits and social benefits on comprehensively prompting quality-oriented education, especially on the cultivation of ability of innovating, learning and practicing. All these efforts to improve the cultivation quality of innovative talents major in mechanical engineering at universities have been widely recognized by our society.

Abstract: At present, in the artistic design education in Colleges of China appeared in the realm of" enterprise education" as the core content of the reform, obtained better result also gained experience. But there are also problems. Based on the innovative education of art design and professional characteristics analysis, proves the reality and necessity of the university construction of art design professional business platform for the network (hereinafter referred to as the “business platform for the network." ), the effectiveness in the promotion of university art design education, and it improve students' innovation ability. And the actual operation of the platform design to provide a preliminary exploration. In 2011 April Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, the Ministry of education to add “art” for the thirteenth disciplines, design upgrades for the first grade discipline. New courses to adapt to the development of China's economic, social, science and technology and higher education, also indicated that the promote of art and design disciplines’ academic status. Focus on scientific and technological advances in today's world, the horizon of knowledge economy, national competitiveness and education in the comprehensive national strength in the important role of art and design college design education is the most fundamental task is to nurture students to become innovative, professional skills intensive, with good employment entrepreneurship modern design professionals.

Abstract: During the teaching of automatic control principle, though both teachers and students realize the importance of the innovation, they are still lack of methodology of innovation. Simultaneously, the laws of innovation during the development of automatic control are ignored. The TRIZ theory, the new type of methodology of innovation, is brought in the class of automatic control principle in order to help students summarize the history of the course, explore the physical character of control theory and predict the new direction. This teaching reform makes the innovative education and professional education merged together so as to cultivate the talents with innovative consciousness and professional competence.

Abstract: Cultivating the students’ awareness and consciousness of the innovation is not only the needs of the times, but also one of the core works of the university education. In this research paper, according to the characteristics of computer and related majors, integrating with the northeast petroleum university of innovative personnel training experience, we come to the conclusion that in the first place, the student should lay a solid theoretical foundation, and then according to the students' abilities and interests ,we create a variety of ways to stimulate the students' innovative abilities, such as the activity of innovative experiment, the subject competition and the professional laboratory. Last but not least, we run school in alliance with many enterprises. With the joint efforts in many ways, our education will achieve sound and practicable development.
