Abstract: The major indoor air pollution-formaldehyde has been a serious threat to our lives to our lives, and accordingly the formaldehyde degradation has turned into a concerned issue of public. This paper has based on a number of degradation methods and combined the adsorption effect of activated carbon with the catalytic effect of MnO2 to remove formaldehyde. The results show that the Nano-MnO2 particles loaded the surface of activated carbon particles possesses smaller sizes, better dispersion and no agglomeration, and consequently the AC/MnO2 compounds degraded formaldehyde effectively.

Abstract: In order to determine the loads acting on the cutterhead of a compound shield, this paper aims at the large-scale and fully coupled system of the excavation face. Firstly, a new model is proposed to calculate the loads acting on a single cutter, in which the earth pressure of the chamber is taken into consideration. Then, by transforming the large-scale nonlinear contact problem into a smaller one, we set up the governing equations only including the penetration depth of cutters in the approach of the sub-structure condensation, to calculate the loads acting on the cutterhead. Finally, the relationship between the penetration per revolution and the total thrust and total torque acting on the cutters of the cutterhead of a compound shield is investigated.

Abstract: The paper discusses the contributing factors of dike failure occurred during construction of the diversion ditch. It is concluded that composition of ground and effect of the groundwater are physical element of slide, soil from ditch excavation placed on the top of flanking slopes for embankment and stress-relief at the foot of flanking slope by excavation are induced factors.

Abstract: Pd catalyst is very active in Suzuki reaction. As a heterogeneous catalyst, SWNTs/Pd shows highly catalytic ability with Suzuki reaction. We will demonstrate the effect of catalyst’s amount, the reaction time and temperature on Suzuki reaction in this work. In comparison, a control experiment used commercial Pd/C as catalyst in Suzuki reaction has been done. An optimum reaction condition of about reacting 60 min at 50°C with 5% (mass%) catalyst is confirmed finally, and a better catalytic ability of SWNTs/Pd than commercial Pd/C is also observed.

Abstract: The given paper is closely connected with the complex proposal relating to the resistance temperature sensor for media temperature. The mentioned proposal is based on the analysis and simulation of loading with the reference to the resistance temperature sensor during the media flow in the pipeline while the heat transfer in solid body and media occurs simultaneously. The simulation of the loading was carried out on the basis of finite element method (FEM) using Cosmos Motion 2.86 program software. During the given investigation, the different media temperatures as well as different velocities or rates of media flow were taken into account.

Abstract: The relevance of investigating the problem of loading a diamond abrasive tool with a metallic binder to improve the efficiency of finishing treatment of a wide range of high-strength materials is addressed in the paper. The results of theoretical and experimental studies of the formation of a greasy layer on the surface of diamond wheels in the treatment of high-strength materials are shown. In the theoretical part it is proposed to consider this phenomenon in terms of the equilibrium state of electrochemical potentials at the interface of a diamond wheel and the treated surface. Dependences are revealed that help to determine greasy layer values. The practical part of this work consists in electron-microscopic, spectroscopic and X-ray diffraction studies of wheel specimens with a metallic binder in diamond grinding. Based on the results obtained the composition and structure of a greasy layer are determined. A comparison of the experimental data with the calculated values confirms the adequacy of the proposed theory. The use of combined methods to improve the efficiency of machining high-strength materials is recommended. It can help to reduce the intensity of loading and to improve the cutting properties of diamond abrasive tools with a metallic binder

Abstract: The problem of shock deforming of elastic-plastic half-space with large deformation was examined. We have obtained that the deformation state can be changed in two types of simple plastic waves and two types of shock elastic waves in the case of self-similar medium motion. The speeds and characteristics of plastic waves were examined. The numerical solution of boundary value problem was found.

Abstract: Reactive dyes have been widely used in the dyeing of bright colourful silk fabrics. The discoloration and degradation of Reactive Red K-2G in waste water were discussed in this paper. A new heterogeneous photocatalyst named loading phthalocyanine sulfonic iron fibers (FePcS-F) was prepared by phthalocyanine sulfonic Iron supported by modified cellulose fibers in acidic condition. The photocatalytic degradation of Reactive Red K-2G was characterized by discoloration rate to evaluate the effect of catalyst dosage, catalyst loading (CFePcS-F) and solution pH. The results proved that increasing catalyst dosage and CFePcS-F significantly accelerated the dye degradation. FePcS-F catalyst showed higher photocatalytic activity when the solution’s pH value is equal to or less than 6.0, compared to alkaline medium.

Abstract: The landing gear ground loading tests is a vital part before flight. As the motion of landing gear is three-dimensional motion,the traditional loading method cannot effectively simulate the pneumatic load on the ground. In order to simulate the load in the process of retraction/extension, a loading simulation system is proposed, including retractile system, position follow-up system and force servo loading system. This paper analyzes retraction/extension mechanism of the landing gear and builds up its mathematical model. A co-simulation model is developed in which the hydraulic system model and control system are built in software AMESim, the mechanical system of test platform model is built in software ADAMS. The results of the simulation confirm that the loading simulation system is feasible and provide the basis for building hardware platform.

This bicycle achieves the role of rain, shine dual-use and loading. It also satisfies the function requirements that people live in contemporary on bicycles. This article will elaborate the transmission device calculation and bicycle design based on Solid Edge Modeling.
