Abstract: The objective is to explore degradation and removal of nitrogen and phosphorus in each unit of pond when using an artificially enhanced ecological system treats petrochemical wastes. The system consists of anoxic pond, the aerobic pond and aquatic plants pond, aiming to achieve a coordinate treatment effect in the multi-habitat system. The system combines treatment effects including assimilation, decomposition, interception, absorption, adsorption and filtration of microorganisms, aquatic plants and soil in the anaerobic, anoxic and aerobic state. It shows that the system has a good removal effect on COD, NH3-N, TN, and TP, and the removal rate range for each is 26.7% ~ 48.6%, 55.4% ~ 91.3%, 20.4% ~ 43.6% and 25.7% ~ 46.4%, respectively. It is also found that the treatment effects change with seasons, which are the best in summer because of vigorous plant growth and strong microbial activity. In conclusion, the system has a higher efficiency to remove nitrogen and phosphorus than the traditional stabilization pond technology.

Abstract: Eco-city was researched from the basic characteristics and compared with existence form of life in this article. An eco-city shall form a living organism system as a complex organization of green building working as the main ecological circle in human society and civilization, demonstrating its nature of life as well. This paper analyzed the human as the most important part of a city, with both material and spiritual leading properties, elaborated that eco-city was similar to organism in the field of structure and composition, operation and control, development and evolution. It is concluded that human is the core energy and power of urban development in modern civilization.

Abstract: Copper (Cu), a redox active metal, is an essential nutrient for all species studied to date. But excessive amounts of copper in the body or plant can also pose a risk. To better understand the toxicity of Cu to organisms it is necessary to understand the mechanism by which Cu influences biological and chemical processes in the environment. This paper summarizes the properties of physical and chemical of copper, the sources of organisms exposed to copper and the influence of different concentrations of copper on animal and plant, and also summarizes the relevant research progress.

Abstract: To evaluate the marine heavy metal pollution, Hg, Zn, Pb, Cd, Cr of bivalves and fishes collected from cultivating areas and natural catching along Lianyungang coastal waters were analyzed. Results show that Hg, Zn, Pb, Cd were present in the marine organisms except Cr below the detection limits. The content of Pb of bivalves from cultivating areas and that of bivalves and fishes from natural catching exceeded the standards, while the rest was below the prescribed legal limit, indicating that Pb has become the potential health risks. Anthropogenic activities may have introduced significant amounts of Pb into the marine environment.

Abstract: Based on the test results of pollution factors of some coastal economic organisms and sediments in the survey on pollution baseline of Fujian, this article discusses the content and characteristics of pollutants of some coastal bay sediments and ocean economic organisms of Fujian province, analyzes their correlations, and estimates their current situation. Abstract: If a city is an organism, urban new district should be a part of the whole organic growing city. This paper takes the QunLi New District of Harbin as an example, discusses the development goal, design idea, development strategy, space layout form and development mode of the new district, puts forward a suggestion that the new district shall be a district with perfect function such as residential, commercial, industrial etc. The urban design of new district should pay special attention to the surrounding area, especially to the connection with downtown, forecast and arrange reasonably various public services facilities and infrastructure according to the population and economic development of new district, strengthen the ecological environment construction of the new district, create livable urban space with times characteristics.
