Abstract: This paper expounded the great significance of the environmental risk assessment in the petrochemical project. The researches on environmental risk evaluation for the petrochemical projects have been made on the basis of the specific case analysis, in which the potential accidents risks of the project have been identified, and the accident rate, the accident consequence and risk have been calculated and evaluated. The result showed that the environmental risk assessment for the project was top grade, and the maximum credible accident risk was on an acceptable level with low risk value.

Abstract: Petrochemical industry is an industry of high energy consumption and high carbon emission. It’s the bounden duty for this industry to select the low carbon economy development path. This paper analyzes the development restricting factors of the present petrochemical industry. Furthermore, this paper expounds the development implementation path of the new petrochemical industry from the following five aspects, such as to optimize the low carbon energy structure, achieve the implementation of ecological construction both in industry and enterprises, increase the technical support and management support for the low carbon transition of petrochemical industry, strengthen the Omni directional penetration depth of the low-carbon awareness and so on.

Abstract: Industrial or Trade effluent defines, in legal term, any liquid, gaseous or solid substance discharged from industry premises. The discharge of untreated effluents is injurious to public health besides to the life and health of animals or plants or of aquatic organisms. Effluent treatment involves mechanical, physical, chemical and biological processes; in majority of non-natural processes, mechanical equipment is used to breakdown the wastes into environmentally stable components, and their suitability depends on the type of the generated waste, process, efficiency of equipment used, etc. A few of these include – diffusers, fixed and floating aerators for injecting compressed air, Bio-discs which rotate on shafts for biological treatment, incinerators for burning solid wastes, cyclones and wet/dry Scrubbers for air treatment, Filter press, Centrifuge to remove water/moisture. Petrochemical product manufacturing activity is a highly polluting industry. The effect of mechanical equipments in such a petrochemical unit, manufacturing Phthalic Anhydride, Maleic Anhydride, Fumaric Acid and Maleic Acid, at Tamil Nadu has been studied and the performance of the equipment in the aeration components of the ETP system evaluated; the study concludes with suggestions for supplementary improvement.

Abstract: This paper introduces regional vulnerability of environmental emergencies in petrochemical industry based on the analysis of the vulnerability and the theory of the constituent elements. And it builds the regional vulnerability evaluation index system of environmental emergencies in the petrochemical industry from analyzing the people vulnerability factors, economic vulnerability factors, environment vulnerability factors and regional respond capability.

Abstract: In the context of global climate warming, Chinese petrochemical industry undertakes great pressure and responsibilities of CO2 emission reduction under the premise of national energy safety. From international experiences, green and low carbon becomes the development trends of petrochemical industry worldwide. The survey on relevant petrochemical enterprises summarizes the motivations, current ways, difficulties, and expected supports from governments in low carbon technology innovation. Based on the survey, the paper argues that technology innovation require integration of energy conservation, emission reduction and industry upgrading for the target of harmonious development of economy, society and environment. The choices of cost leadership, integration innovation, follower innovation, and industrial cluster are suggested when making innovation strategy by Chinese petrochemical industry.

Abstract: Energy cooperation is one of the prerequisites for the development of modern industry and the world economy, China-Russia energy cooperation is an important part of China-Russia economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, and is also an important field of development of bilateral strategic partnership.China is the world's oil-producing and consuming countries, demand for oil and gas has great; Russia is oil and gas producing and exporting countries in the world, rich in oil and gas resources. Firstly, the paper use of SWOT analysis on China-Russia cooperation in energy analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and finally put forward the China-Russia energy cooperation strategy. Strengthening China-Russia energy cooperation is conducive to ensuring China's energy security, but also to Russia's exports to China more energy, the China-Russia energy cooperation is a win-win and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Abstract: Petrochemical industry produces long-lasting industrial waste gas, waste water and waste residues which affect ecological environment in our country seriously. The eco-efficiency rate is a significant indicator in evaluation industrial sustainable development, which represents the efficiency of alleviation pressure on the environment using natural resources in the economic growth. In this paper, we used three-stage DEA model to evaluate the eco-efficiency of the petrochemical industry. The empirical analysis shows that it is feasible to use the three-stage DEA model on evaluation the eco-efficiency of the petrochemical industry. The conclusion is has a practical and theoretical significance to promote sustainable development level of petroleum enterprise.
