Abstract: Based on the good function for 3D modeling of Pro/E software, 3D geometry modeling for the entire flow passage of HLA351 which is the Francis turbine with long and short blades was realized by means of a series of methods of drawing from inside to outside, drawing from top to bottom, drawing lines from points, drawing surfaces from lines, and finally getting body from surfaces, so as to provide a reliable foundation for the future CFD calculation and performance prediction.

Abstract: 3D modeling, virtual assembly and motion simulation of an up-open fan gate mine skip were completed with Pro/Engineer software. During virtual design, faults of a mine skip such as static and dynamic interference can be found out prior to be made, which is helpful to optimize it. Furthermore, it is effective to shorten design period of mine skip and save development cost and improve design quality.

Abstract: The precision cam divider is mainly used for intermittent indexing step motion between two vertical staggered shafts and extensively applied in machinery of textile, package, tobacco, food, pharmacy and machining center, etc. [ [. With progress of modern science and technology, higher speed, efficiency, life and quality are required for mechanical transmission mechanisms on automats and automatic lines, as a result, higher requirements are raised for properties of the precision cam divider. In spite of advantages of high transmission speed, high locating precision, high indexing precision, good reliability, good dynamics performance, simple structure and long lifetime, etc. of the precision cam divider, artificial design is very cumbersome, in which design and machining of globoidal indexing cam are more complicated [ [. This paper develops CAD/CAM system for globoidal indexing cam by means of Pro/E system development platform and parameterizes design of globoidal indexing cam and transposition disc so as to simplify design interface and shorten design cycle of product, and mean while performs dynamic assembly, simulation and test of product performance to improve product quality and operating efficiency.

Abstract: The pipe thread forming machine was innovatively designed in the article, using Pro/E as a design tool, we built the structural model of the pipe thread forming machine and performed interference detection and movement simulation for it, on the basis of this, we made a physical prototype. And our experiment showed the complete machine has the characteristics of high efficiency, tight structure, small volume and light weight, and it was easy to move.

Abstract: In the traditional design of round broach ,the impact tools of broach maybe unable to achieve the requirements for the processing precision,or even occur the situation of partial fracture due to a exaggerated partial deformation.In this article,by using Pro/E we complete the 3D solid modeling and the dimensional parameterization of the impact tools for combination round and spline broach,then import the 3D model into ANSYS,to analyze and solve the whole process of load and deformation at work.It can effectively improve the machining accuracy and the reliability of round broach, shorten the design cycle and reduce cost.

Abstract: In order to improve the quality of ProCAST casting simulation, a pre-processing method is proposed based on Pro/E software and HyperMesh software. In this paper, Pro/E software parametric solid modeling and HyperMesh finite element meshing functions were used, a ProCAST pre-processing method is proposed based on Pro/E and HyperMesh software, it overcomes the meshing problems of ProCAST casting simulation and achieves the connections among Pro/E, HyperMesh and ProCAST. Compared with the basic ProCAST casting simulation meshing module, the Pro/E and HyperMesh pre-processing method improves the accuracy of modeling and meshing, the method is easy to realize with high accurancy.

Abstract: Complex operating environment makes excavator working device become the main wearing parts ,In this paper,builds three-dimensional models of the excavator working device using Pro/E. And selects the working device typical operating conditions which is in the maximum discharge height ,then imports it into the finite element analysis software ANSYS - Workbench module. For the purpose of acquiring its natural frequencies and mode shapes, it conducts the modal analysis by setting the material properties, meshing and boundary conditions,which provided foundation for the optimal design of hydraulic excavator overall vibration analysis and structural dynamic characteristics.
