Abstract: With the rapid development of Chinese highway construction, domestic highway design has stepped into the stage of efficacy. At the present stage, traditional highway design method on the basis of vehicle dynamics is exposing more and more drawbacks. The main factor affecting traffic accidents in highway transportation system should be analyzed form a new perspective and complementarity for Design Specification for Highway Alignment should be proposed. The purpose of this research is summering the relative research and its technique of highway safety.

Abstract: An annotated analytical essay of possible nanofabrication and nanotechnology applications is presented with respect to: (1) some techniques and original results [1-4] concerning the regularities and micromechanisms (physics) of the hydrogen fluoride gas activator influence on the diffusion-controlled oxidation processes of titanium, zirconium and zirconium-based alloys with niobium, and also – on nitriding, boriding and carbiding a series of refractory metals (Ti, Zr, Nb, Mo, W, Ta); (2) some techniques, original results and physics of the diffusion-controlled formation processes of the compound-like nanosegregation [5-13] and the results [13-23] on the liquid-like phase at grain boundary regions in metals and alloys. In the scope of this review, a constructive analysis, the Arrhenius-type treatment, and the original data interpretation [16-21] has been carried out for the first time; (3) some techniques, original analytical results, and physics [24, 25] of the diffusion-controlled processes of the hydrogen multilayer intercalation (physisorption of a condensation or clustering type) with carbonaceous nanostructures. The main objective of the given analytical essay is to attract the researchers’ attention to the expediency of such a non-conventional data analysis and interpretation.

Abstract: Building a harmonious society is the main theme of China's development. Package, as a main part of economic and cultural development, brings a great deal of disharmonious factors to the environment sustainable development. The materials needed in packaging industry, the production process, and the packaging waste are all undoubtedly increase the difficulty and pressure of environmental protection. The involved factors in packaging industry that affect the environment were analyzed systematically. And based on the analysis, the way that can release the pollution of package on the environment were brought forward from the design, material selection, process to the research of new technology and even the regulations to establish. Packaging would develop harmoniously with the environment with our efforts.

Abstract: As vehicle flow on arterial highway in Inner Mongolia sharply increased, the originally designed natural increase rate of 8% per year has been exceeded on the vehicle flow in some sections. According to statistics, monthly average vehicle flow on major section of G6 expressway has reached a standard flow of 67478 vehicles per day and night, of which in 70-80% are large ones for coal transportation. Therefore, pavement load and road capacity have exceed the designed expressway load capacity. At present, semi-rigid base asphalt pavement structure is still widely used for high-grade highway pavement in Inner Mongolia. With years of construction for such pavement structure, a great deal of valuable experience has been gained on construction technology. However, there are still a few deficiencies in the quality of raw materials, gradation control of asphalt mixture and adjustment of equipment, etc. Hohhot circle expressway connects with the G6 and G7 expressways, suffering from problems such as large vehicle flow and load overweight. This paper introduced a key technique that should be properly controlled during construction of such pavement structure, emphasized technique control and management of the following aspects, i.e. ballast sizes and gradation control, asphalt concrete mixture, adjustment of pavers, validation of mixing proportion in production and reasonable arrangement of process, and summarized corresponding technical measures taken during construction of asphalt pavement in this project.

Abstract: The bioavailability and environmental risk of heavy metals in soil depends greatly on their speciation, not total amounts. Different speciation analysis techniques of heavy metals in soil are reviewed and the speciation schemes are considered and discussed in some detail. The present problems remained in the field of environmental science and future trends of speciation analysis of heavy metals in soil are also briefly dealt with.

Abstract: With the rapid development of our economy, manufacturing industry places great proportion. Although the manufacturing process develops very fast, it brings negative influence. Resources waste and environmental degradation are the example. This article aims at machinery production technique based on green manufacturing. At first, this paper introduces the green manufacturing in details, especially the definition and engineering. In the second place, it analyzes green manufacturing technique of saving type and reducing type. At last, this article researches cutting fluid system of green manufacturing, introduces the traditional system disadvantages, and improve it. This article has a positive function to the workers of manufacturing industry.

Abstract: To replace the heavily contaminative and long price CuCo2Be alloy, the titanium bronze of no more than 3.5wt% alloying agents was introduced in this article, and its best techniques of heat treatment and cold deformation were confirmed. The metallurgical structures and fracture patterns were observed and analyzed respectively, and the microstructure was also surveyed by TEM. Results showed that titanium bronze belonged to deposition strengthening, and the main precipitated phase Ni3Ti distributed dispersedly in the group, whose size was about 20nm. Compared to the CuCo2Be alloy, the grain size of titanium bronze is more sensitive to temperature. So the titanium bronze can not be applied under overaging situation.

Abstract: Tennis is being loved by more and more people now. Moreover, it is gradually becoming an important leisure and recreation activity. As for this, material features involved with tennis design is currently widely studied and noticed by scholars domestic and overseas. Based on the positive results obtained by researchers domestic and overseas, the paper further summarized and generalized the development process of tennis racket frame and the material features of tennis racket string. Besides, the technical process of tennis racket design is also analyzed. Eventually, by integrating the pressure carrying feature of tennis racket, by taking carbon fiber tennis racket as the example, the paper has calculated related mechanical indexes, so as to high-lighten its excellent performance. In addition, racket string also has significant influence on ball speed and accuracy rate. By looking up related literatures, the intrinsic relationship is also revealed.

Abstract: In this paper, the new technique involving comparison and optimization of conditions for Magnetic Abrasive Finishing (MAF) is suggested, taking into account the basic laws stated for process MAF. The formulas for the calculation of the criteria for optimization are created when the process MAF is used for polishing, removal of burrs, and other purposes. The application of the technique is shown in an experiment on the optimization conditions for the removal of burrs after drilling using the MAF method. The technique can be used after standards for this process are developed.

Abstract: Polyphenol is a kind of active compound widely existed in many Chinese herbs, easily destroyed by oxygen and heat. Extraction and concentration are key steps to protect it from destruction, and the costly energy consumption steps in the process of herbs. In order to save energy and improve polyphenol quality, instantaneous ultrasonic extraction (IUE) and reverse osmosis (RO) concentration are evaluated in this paper. IUE and RO were used to extract polyphenol separately from herbs of Phyllantuus urinaria L, leaves of Camellia sinensis L and root of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. Gallic acid, EGCG and Tanshinol, the main components of polyphenols, were determined by HPLC. Their content and energy consumption were compared to that by same time water boiling (10min) or 60min ultrasonic extraction and vacuum concentration. IUE increased 1-3 times or 1-5 times polyphenol content and saved 1 or 6 times energy consumption more than the same time water boiling or 60min ultrasonic extraction. Compared with vacuum vaporization to the same solid matter content (15%), RO increased 2 times polyphennol content and consumed 1/10 times energy and 1/5 times time. Combination of IUE and RO shortens process time, significantly improves polyphenol quality and saves energy. It will be the beneficial method for polyphenol extraction and concentration of Chinese herbs.
