Abstract: Aiming at the problem of the complicated process, the low precision and efficiency of crack detection and key geometric feature of the circular saw blade, the quality detection system of the circular saw blade based on the nondestructive testing and laser measurement technology is studied. By using the laser measurement technology and optimizing the data processing method, the face runout, the thickness of the circular saw blade are measured. The crack defects in the tooth root region of the circular saw blade are detected by eddy current nondestructive testing technology. The system achieves the radial detection of 1mm radial sawing, the detection accuracy of the round beating is> 0.03mm, and the thickness measurement accuracy is> 0.005mm.

Abstract: This paper discusses about the methods of ultrasonic nondestructive testing applied in the hydraulic cylinder production process; represents how to detect the defects of the raw material of cylinder barrel such as bubbles, cracks, impurity and test the steel tube thickness with the principle of ultrasonic thickness measurement; introduces how to select raw materials through the measured thickness, detect the defects in the machining process and implement preliminary qualifying examination for assembled hydraulic cylinder. The actual application shows that the method can improve the qualification of hydraulic cylinder production effectively.

Abstract: The polyurethane sheet is an important part of automotive interior trim. For a long time, the measurement and recording are both accomplished by hand. It has problems such as low measuring precision, low working efficiency. Accordance with the existed problem of polyurethane sheet measurement, we developed an online measurement for polyurethane sheet and code-spurting system. The system measures the thickness through two channels using laser displacement sensors. PLC collects data and controls the alarm device. Weighing is completed by belt scale and weighing instrument PT650D. Host computer software communicates with slave computer through serial interface. It not only makes data processing and storage function true, but also can make database operations such as data query, statistics and so on. In order to be convenient for quality tracing, the system sets and prints a number for each block. It also can print irregular information such as thickness and weight.

Abstract: For the issue of the industrial pipe wall lining the thickness of dynamic changes difficult to be measured, based on the principle of ultrasonic thickness measurement and ultrasonic propagation in solids and based on existing research and theory of ultrasonic, this topic has designed a ultrasonic technology solution for measuring the thickness of the pipe wall lining. This technology achieves online measurement and non-destructive thickness measurement. Through processing and analysis of the experimental results, it demonstrates the feasibility and reliability of the technology. This technology has great significance for improving the security and stability of the pipeline.

Abstract: Composite materials have some obvious advantages such as high specific strength 、high specific modulus 、corrosion resistant 、abrasion resistant and so on, it is believed to be highly competitive compare to other materials. Advanced composite materials have been used more and more widely in defense industry, among them carbon fiber reinforced resin base composite material is most representative [1] ,there has great value for the study of carbon fiber composite materials. Eddy current is a nondestructive testing technology widely used on metal materials, the using of eddy current technology in aviation domain has a long history, but there is few reports on composite material with eddy current NDT. Experiments show that eddy current used on composite material is feasible, and the result is satisfactory. The thickness measurements of carbon fiber advanced composite materials have been done in two different ways.

Abstract: Ultra-thin films of SiO2 (nominally 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10nm thick) on silicon, prepared by thermal oxidation, were investigated using x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The thickness of these thin films was obtained from a measurement of the photoelectron intensities originating from the substrate and the oxide layers by applying an appropriate quantitative model. The uncertainty budget of that thickness measurement method is given. The effective attenuation lengths or the corresponding electron inelastic mean free paths are of the most importance in the contribution of the uncertainties. For the SiO2 ultra-thin film with the nominal thickness of 2nm, it could generate 20% of the uncertainty.
