Abstract: This paper presents a parametric study of the radiative properties of patterned wafers with a polysilicon gate array on the Si substrate, considering the effect of wavelength and polarization. While the gate sizes are very small compared to wavelength, the results show rather unusual phenomena. The absorptance calculated by effective medium theory (EMT) is in agreement with finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) in the cases with small gate and period sizes. With the increase of period and decrease of the ratio of the gate width to the pattern pitch, both EMT and FDTD results for TM mode approach to pure silicon since the grating effect diminishes. Besides, the TE absorptance curve separates from that of plain Si at the wavelength equals to the grating period, this is because the gate can interact with its neighboring region by diffraction and the diffraction effects are weak, when the wavelength is small. It also shows a slight increase in the gate height can drastically increase the absorptance and the increased gate height shifts the peak absorptance to longer wavelength. This work is of great importance for optimization of advanced annealing techniques in semiconductor manufacturing.

Abstract: Aiming to the problem of low computing speed of existing model of fabric characteristic, this paper introduces pre-judgment to improve the speed of image analysis by fabric characteristic model, and constructs gray distribution wave model to quickly estimate image. First, image gray is taken. Then, horizontal and vertical gray distribution wave is established using superposition formula with little computation to further simply model and made the computation speed fast. Finally, from a number of experiments, this model has such features that image can be pre-estimated exactly and continue recognition algorithm can be instructed to leap over some normal regions. So analysis times of image are saved and on-line recognition efficiency of fabric defects is improved.

Abstract: Polyacrylonitrile (PAN)/silver (Ag) nanoparticle composites were prepared via heat treatment of composite solutions of silver nitrate (AgNO3) and PAN in N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF). The resultant composites were characterized by infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Thermo gravimetric analyses (TGA). TGA results showed that the PAN/Ag composite are thermally more stable than the corresponding neat PAN. XRD results showed that pure phase Ag was obtained in the prepared nanocomposites. They also showed that crystallinity of PAN was largely decreased after the composition with nano-sized Ag. TEM results showed that the Ag particles were in sphere shape with 30-60nm diameter in the as-prepared nanocomposites.

Abstract: This paper presents a new kind of scheduling solution for multiple design tasks in networked developing environments. The main contributions of this study can be focused on three points: The first is to distinguish the concepts and contents of the task scheduling in the networked developing environments. The second is to construct a game-theory mathematical model to deal with this new multiple design tasks scheduling problem. In the presented mathematical model, the players, strategies and payoff are given separately. Therefore, obtaining the optimal scheduling results is determined by the Nash equilibrium (NE) point of this game. In order to find the NE point, a genetic algorithm (GA)-based solution algorithm to solve this mathematical model is proposed. Finally, a numerical case study is presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the methods.

Abstract: This paper deals with fretting wear of blade bearings considering working conditions. The cause of fretting wear in blade bearing is analyzed and an improvement is proposed to evaluate the design of the bearing in the paper. Result from the test proves that the method of controlling fretting wear is satisfactory. Reference value of clearance in blade bearing can be obtained from the test result.

Abstract: In order to realize integration and cooperation of technique preparation process for project production, a unified modeling language (UML)-based approach for development of project production technique preparation cooperative platform is proposed. The business process of project production technique preparation is elaborated, and the interest of an UML-based approach for designing and implementing project production technique preparation cooperative platform is detailed. Finally, a prototype system is developed and the approach is proved feasible and efficient.

Abstract: In order to realize the sharing and reuse of process knowledge, an intelligent approach for process knowledge acquisition based on rough set theory and ontology technology was proposed. The framework of process knowledge acquisition was put forward and process knowledge acquisition system was defined. An information complementation method was presented and the algorithm for automating process knowledge acquisition was designed. Moreover, ontology technology was applied in process knowledge representation to resolve the problem of process knowledge reliability and consistency, and the similarity computing approach of knowledge ontology was presented.

Abstract: A new material was prepared by formation of polystyrene in situ wood porous structure from styrene monomer through thermal-catalyst treatment. And the performance of such wood-polymer composite, containing mechanical properties and durability, was also tested. The SEM results showed that polymer was generated inside wood, and filled in wood cellular structure. The mechanical properties of such wood-polystyrene composite including modulus of rupture (MOR), modulus of elasticity (MOE), compression strength and hardness, were respectively improved 38%, 77%, 21% and 97% over untreated wood. And the durability of the novel composite involving dimensional stability, decay resistance and stability against weather erosion were remarkably improved than those of untreated wood. Such composite can be widely used in fields of construction, traffic and interior decoration, which greatly enhanced the utilization of low-valued wood material instead of high-quality wood.

Abstract: The basic parameters of internal combustion engines reflect the working performance and quality of the internal combustion engine. Therefore it is of great significance to design the operating parameters of vehicle engine by design optimization method. In this paper, hybrid genetic algorithm is adopted to optimize operating parameters of vehicle engine, so that optimization process was simplified and the global optimal solution is ensured reliably. Being satisfied with the heating loading, mechanical loading and the conditions of gas mixture of engine and boundary constraints, the optimization mathematical model is created which is to minimize the heating surface area of engine. Considering the problem of low efficiency and local optimum caused by traditional optimal methods, the hybrid Genetic Algorithm are adopted to solve the optimization model. So that the optimization process is simplified and global optimum is acquired reliably.
