Abstract: Structural damage intelligent diagnosis is the detection and evaluation of the structure, to make sure whether there is damage, and to figure out the position and the depth of the damage. The appearance of the damage affects the dynamic properties of the structure and leads to the reduction of the natural frequency and the change of the vibration mode. This paper mainly focuses on the damage diagnosis of the cantilevered machine tool beam, which includes parameterized modeling and modal analysis to get five natural frequencies and five vibration modes of different positions and different depths of the damage. The BP neural network is trained with the data base to realize the intelligent diagnosis.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the structure of molding tool for composite component, and proposes a method of surface design of molding tool based on reverse engineering. By using handy laser scanner, the point cloud data is obtained from the composite component, which is processed in Geomagic Studio. Then the processed data is imported into CATIA for Surface fitting. The surface of molding tool for composite component is rapidly and accurately designed by analyzing 3D error and comparing cross-sectional data.

Abstract: Topology optimization is a design method to seek an optimum distribution of material according to loading, restraint and objective. Topology optimization was carried out for board – finite element analysis is compared with the original design. The study shows that the stress which on the board was reduced to a great extent. The distribution of the stress was better than before .substantial reduction of quality achieves lightweight. It provides an important technical message for improvement design of the flexible clamping stent fixture.

Abstract: According to the analysis of a flexible tooling platform, this paper realized the overall design of the control system for the flexible tooling platform, introduced the compound of the control system and operation principle in detail, realized the design of PC control software based on Visual C++ and CATIA secondary development technology, completed the design of the servo system and the RS-485 control system network and set up a completed flexible tooling platform control system.

Abstract: In this paper, the digital rapid detection system is established, which includes digital measurement technology, secondary development of CATIA technology, multi-point flexible clamping platform, and searching algorithm of positioning point. This system effectively solves the rapid detection and registration issues for space irregular surface products. The principle of digital rapid detection system is introduced. This instances shows that the system can greatly improve the space efficiency of the detection of irregular surface products, and makes the results more reliable.

Abstract: An error inspection method based on 3D laser scanning measurement is proposed for the purpose of achieving field rapid inspection of turbine vane surface. The 3D model of vane is reconstructed by using the data of form drawing in CATIA. By using handy laser scanner, the point cloud data is obtained from the wood pattern of vane, which is processed in Geomagic Qualify. After registration of vane solid model and point cloud data, the vane surface is rapidly inspected by analyzing 3D error and comparing cross-sectional data.
