Abstract: To ensure the quasi class rate of large container liner, the requirements of handlingcapacity and efficiency for handling equipment will be higher. Therefore, meeting the requirementof increasingly large-scale on container ship is an important factor on Quayside of Container Crane (QCC) selection proposal. Under the premise of meeting handlingcapacity and efficiency, it should consider the reliability,economy, advancement and other factors of handling equipment. In the foundation of analyses the technical parameters and cost factors on QCC selection proposal, this thesis gives a synthetic evaluation method of QCC selection proposal, including the choice of index system and weight determination, and it gives sensitivity analysis from different factors that affect the QCC selection scheme result. Be combined with cases, this thesis describes the synthetic evaluation method for selection proposal is practical.

Abstract: Visual simulation's fidelity is used to verify the similar degree of simulation system that simulates real word. How to improve the similar degree of visual simulation is the key way to meet the simulation performance. Based on the F-AHP method, this work establishes the evaluation model of visual simulation fidelity of bridge-type grab ship-unloader, giving determining method of evaluation indicators, establishing membership function of each indicator and determining the weight. Finally, the case study is taken to illustrate how to evaluate a specific visual simulation with the method proposed in this work, and the evaluation result shown the fidelity of the virtual scene we gave is not so well.

Abstract: The 3D visualization technology is a kind of means and methods to achieve the human-computer interaction. Instead of the discrete objects in container terminal yard, the cargo in bulk terminal yard is always being a form with particle. This paper gives a method which integrates modeling manually and real-time reconstruction automatically to achieve 3D visualization of bulk terminal yard. Since to meet the requirement of real-time rendering and also decision data computing fast, this paper designs the data structure to describe the digital stockpile formed with a hierarchy relationship between surfaces, sections and space points, and also considers the closest distance as the main condition for searching and updating an old section, to visualize the working process in bucket terminal yard.

Abstract: The heavy quayside container crane is the key equipment of handling production in container terminal, because the general simulation system can not provide the detail information of the single crane unit during working process, this work proposed a novel method to visualize the working process of the crane. Analyzed the basic mechanisms and typical working condition, based on which, discussed the modeling method for working process visualization, and then gave the internal structure of 3D crane model. This work designed the control logic to drive the 3D graphic elements of the visualization system, implemented the working process visualization according to the working waiting list of the crane.

Abstract: 3D visualization simulation is the important research method of port logistic production system, whereas the lack of uniform standard and interface of 3D simulation model, it is very difficult to share the simulation model resource, and which caused modeling repeatedly and developing efficiency lowly. Container terminal 3D simulation model repository should be considered as the key factor of solving the problems of developing low-efficiency and model no reuse of logistic system. This paper classified the model resources required by container terminal 3D simulation, explained the functions of container terminal 3D simulation model repository, and gave its framework. Finally, we discussed the key techniques to implement the container terminal 3D simulation model repository.

Abstract: Heavy handling equipment is the key factor to improve the level of logistic service in container terminal. In order to solve the problem of information sharing in maintenance management, this paper integrates the equipment information which locates in different spatial location on the container terminal and analysis the traditional maintenance method, giving the construction and functional modules of maintenance system, which will reduce the cost of heavy container handling equipment maintenance and improves the operational efficiency of terminal.

Abstract: As to the problem that the assembly cycle and costs of quayside container crane always exceeds 40% of the entire production cycle and costs, improving the assembly efficiency becomes an important link to enhance the competence of port machinery manufacturing enterprises. In the product assembling cycle, virtual assembly can help to improve assembly quality and reduce the cost. Based on the physical structure of 45t quayside container crane, 3D components model were developed, the assembly hierarchy and modeling process were provided. The simulation analysis of assembly sequence was taken based on the CATIA DMU platform and virtual assembly animation was generated. The assembly interference detection results were analyzed to verify the part assembling ability, the whole disassembly and assembly process was displayed, which can help the assembly workers making visual analysis of fitting operation rationality.

Abstract: With the further research of large container terminal machine going, promoting single equipment’s efficiency cannot greatly enhance the whole logistics service level of container terminal, thus considering the cooperation of each machine of container terminal from the macro view has become more and more important. The cooperative virtual environment uses distributed virtual reality technology as to build a platform that sharing status data and meeting human-computer interaction. Through analyzing the container’s operating process and combing the typical characteristics of handling machine, this paper proposed a new novel method for container terminal machine cooperation and mutual interaction of each cooperative unit in the virtual environment, so it can present the imbalanced state of production system in the operation process directly and help to make fast decisions.
