Abstract: This article is targeted at different rotor configurations, using of laboratory experimental platform of existing small synchronous rotor of internal mixer, under consistent conditions of cooling water temperature, floating weight pressure, filling coefficient, along with the change of rotor speed, experimental study on five different rotor configurations. Through comparison of the experimental results, choose the best rotor speed, and for further experimental research to provide the optimal parameter selection basis, to ensure that the mixing performance of the mixing-molding integrative machine.

Abstract: Air splicing technology is the key technology to realize high speed, high quality and automatic winding in modern textile industry. However the current research of splicing mechanism is still in qualitative analysis, theoretical and experimental exploration stage. By modern computational mechanics method, with the air flow analysis results in different structures and shapes of splicer chamber, the air flow patterns under high pressure are determined; and the optimized structural characteristics of the splicing chamber are obtained in this paper. The results provide theoretical support on the innovative splicer chamber design, promote the development of the new air splicing technology, create important practical value, and provide the feasible means and methods in the air splicer theory research and optimization design.

Abstract: The prediction of tire inflated shape is significant to tire structure design. In this paper, the mathematic-physical equations were established by using pressure function method and then the prediction of tire inflated shape was numerically accomplished. The obtained results agree well with the actual tire shapes, verifying the pressure function method. The present work gives a prediction method in designing futuristic tire shapes and could be applied to the mechanics analysis of inflatable tire and optimization design of tyres.

Abstract: Vulcanization process is the last step of manufacturing rubber products. For tire tread which is made of short fiber rubber composite material, vulcanization is complex due to during vulcanization process the flow of mixed rubber maybe change short fibers orientation. As a result, during vulcanization process, several pieces of iron wire have been put in the mold to play the role of tire patterns for the first step research. The experimental results indicate that the flow of mixed rubber would not change short fibers orientation greatly, and physical and mechanical properties of short fiber-rubber composite material keep as good as that vulcanized without iron wire.

Abstract: The belt ply plays an important role in the performance of radial tires, and makes the adhesion strength among rubber steel cords of the belt ply become the focus of recently research. This paper focuses on the study of the theoretical analysis of the force on the belt ply, obtaining the relationship between the size of the load at the single steel wire and the outside load and the steel wire’s deformation on a single steel wire. Taking advantage of the software ANSYS Workbench 13.0, we carried out the simulation analysis of the single steel wire, and intuitively showed you the deformation and stress of belt ply’s steel wire under the different forces, providing theoretical basis and reference value for further researches on the adhesion fatigue life of rubber steel wires.

Abstract: The mixing-extruding machine is made up of mixer and unconventional double-cone screw extruder, which has both the excellent mixing capabilities and the continuous extruding characters. In the mixer chamber, the complex mixing motion of the blends is determined by the different kinds of forces acting on the blends. The different structure of the rotor, the distribution of the three direction forces is changed also。From the force analysis about the blends, there are three structure factors about rotor effecting the mixing process, such as the wedge angle θ of the rotor’s cross-section, the helix angle β of the rotor’s wing and the length of the wings. The best value of each structure factor can be gotten from theoretical analysis.

Abstract: The properites of a polyester short fiber-NR composites was investigated. The polyester short fiber-NR composites was made by the open mill. The properties of the composites, such as mechanical properties, vulcanization characteristics, and heat aging properties, with different quantities of polyester short fiber was studied. The experiment results showed that right amount of short fiber can increase mechanical properties of SFRC. The interface adhesion between short fiber and matrix is better, the composites have better the reinforcement and the heat aging properties.

Abstract: By choosing some right kinetic coordinates and using the direction cosine matrices as the major mathematics tools, the kinetic problems of the tripod universal joint are resolved successfully. Three kinetic parameters are deduced,which are the center distance between ball rollers, the displacement of ram and acceleration of the ram. They are the design foundation of the tripod universal joint.

Abstract: The improved mixing extruding machine is made up of mixer and unconventional double-cone screw extruder, which has both the excellent mixing capabilities and the continuous extruding characters. Its extruding part is an unconventional double-cone screw extruder, which are integrated double merits about double cone screw and single screw with strong feeding ability, stable extrusion pressure, supplementary mixing and more excellent quality of products. The pair of rotors and screws can be stepless speed regulating, which ensures match between the feeding capacity of the internal mixer and the extrusion output as well as the perfect mixing property. The mathematical model of the continuous mixing extruding can provide guidance for the actual production. The limitation of the batch-type production is overcome, and fulfilling the manufacture from the raw materials of polyblends to finished product in one machine.

Abstract: The pressure function method being different from traditional (experienced) design method. Natural balance outline design method is a tyre structure design method. Based on mathematics and mechanics reasonings, the structure and shape of the tyre were controlled by pressure function and then the structure design was further achieved. The mathematic-physical equations of the pressure function method were established. According to numerical calculation, the reasonable structure of tyre and the prediction of tyre-inflated shape could be accomplished. The pressure function method can reduce the cost and improve the design efficiency.
