Abstract: Combined operation comfort and logistics optimization into the facility layout model of the production line, used Value Engineering theory, facility layout model of a production line based on operation comfort is put forward. After then, the model’s characteristics are analyzed. Compared with the traditional logistics-based model, this model optimizes simultaneously the workers' operation comfort and logistics, not only to reduce the cost of production line, but also to increase the operating quality, finally to enhance the production efficiency.

Abstract: Traditional evaluation methods of industrial design are more qualitative and hard to be applied to product development. Quantitative methods centralize the fuzzy evaluation. In this paper, an improved analytic hierarchy process (IAHP) is applied to evaluate industrial design, whose mathematical model and steps are described detailed. At last, an intelligent home service is used in a case of industrial design evaluation to explain the IAHP. This method can be improved to guarantee the accuracy of the evaluation results, but also be benefit for the implementation and outspread of product design.

Abstract: Individuation is the inevitable trend of product design, especially 3C product. So the further can the clients participate in the product design, the more product individuation is. Confronted with the increasing individual demands of customers, manufacturers should think it more important to increase the individuation of their products by doing their best to enable the clients take part fart- hest in the 3C products design with the efficiency of mass production. The characteristics of 3C product design and the customers - "Geek" network groups are summarized at first. Then, as an example of MEIZU M9 mobile phone, design by customers-Geek to the innovation design of 3C product is analyzed. Finally, based on these questions, the methods and problems for the production innovation of 3C manufacturers are described. It provides theoretic basic for studying customers how to participate in design and the system development of design by customers.

Abstract: Facing fierce global competition, companies must adjust the production line according to Lean Production, especially in piston field. In order to get a p roductive and rational production line rapidly and effectively, a virtual design method with virtual manufacturing was introduced. First, the production line based on Lean Production was analyzed. Secondly, the key technologies to virtual design were described: planning the virtual production line, establishing the basic resource class library, and simulating the virtual production line. At last,a virtual piston production line is presented, built and simulated in QUEST.This method will provide an efficient tool for the layout planning and rapid reconfiguration design of piston production line, realize the Lean Production goal.

Abstract: After analyzing the characteristic and present situation of design organization, this paper presented a new design organization—fractal design organization(FDO) based on fractal theory. Abstract: This paper is focused on the human factors and assessment methods at workplace firstly. Then the human factors are analysed and evaluated to quantized by Analytic Hierarchy Process and Entropy method. On that basis, the multicriteria quantizing model is build, at last the human factors at piston production line as an example is given. According to the result of model, it provides a scientific evidence to make the human factors in difference processes perfect: improving operating efficiency, optimizing working posture.
