Abstract: The jet-pan is a key part of jet-pan servo valve. Required precision of jet-pan should be guaranteed in process. CCD microscope measurement is used to deals with the measurement of jet-pan in the paper. The worepiece is enlarged by the optical microscope, and a series of image processing algorithms is used to process the image. The basic dimensions and geometrical tolerance of jet-pan are measured. And the stability error is less than ±0.5μm.

Abstract: In this paper, the prediction model of micro-milling cutters in milling process is established to simulate the wear depth in the software DEFORM-3D, the chips growing up an forming process. The paper studies the wear level during the cutting process of micro milling amount of feed per tooth and spindle speed. In this paper the cutting force, cutting heat flow and the contact situation between cutting tool and workpiece are considered in the simulation model. The paper uses abrasion mathematical model related to contact stress and temperature, etc. and studies the influence of the wear depth of milling cutter through the analysis of milling temperature and metal sliding characteristics. Finally, the FEA micro –soft ware is used to verify the change of amount of feed per tooth and the spindle speed with wear depth. The paper provides reasonable parameters for using the micro milling cutter better.

Abstract: Diamond wire saw was a tool which is used to cut the steel-based material, its grinding mechanism was researched in the paper. Based on technical characteristic of the diamond wire, a string of diamond beads in the cutting moment was detected by using the electron microscope. Wear figuration and invalidation reason of the diamond beads was analyzed, and mathematic relation among wear rate, feed velocity and cutting velocity of the diamond wire were educed, and reasonable cutting parameters were received. In order to validate the mathematic model, the experiment was finished. When the diamomd wire saw is used to cut the steel-based material, its two experiential formulas of radial feed force and tangent cutting force are educed by using the orthogonal regression method. In the formula, radial force and cutting force is increasing with augment of the workpiece breadth, ridial feed velocity and cutting velocity, and influence of the workpiece breadth to the cutting force is more than to the radial force. Meanwhile, experiment show yet that error between theory cutting(or feed) force and actual cutting(or feed) force is in the reasonable scope.

Abstract: In Wire Electro Discharge Machine (WEDM), as the big randomicity of electro discharge, single discharge energy is various. In this paper a resistor-less and half-bridge power supply is investigated based on pulse width modulation(PWM), whose single discharge energy is equal , adopting discharge control strategy of breakdown waiting. And the experiment shows the cutting speed and surface roughness of this isopluse power supply is superior to that of traditional isofrequency power supply.

Abstract: In this paper, a novel Pulsed-Width-Modulated (PWM) half-bridge High Speed Drilling Electrical Discharge Machining (HSDEDM) power supply has been developed. This power supply has excellent features that include minimal component count and inherent protection. This topology has an energy conservation feature and eliminates the output bulk capacitors and current limiting resistances. Energy used in the erosion process will be controlled by the switched Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs) in the half-bridge network and be transferred to the gap between the tool and work-piece. The relative tool wear and machining speed of our proposed topology have been compared with that of a normal power supply with current limiting resistances.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the measure principle of flexible joint stiffness and constructs the measuring system of flexible joint stiffness. It achieves the measurement of flexible joint’s torque-rotation angle stiffness through designing the measuring appliance and translocating clamp. The result shows that it is efficient to develop the measuring system and repeatability error is better than 1%.

Abstract: A microactuator with long-travel and high-resolution based on the principle of tribology is presented, which stroke is up to 300mm and displacement resolution is 0.01μm. It resolves the contradiction of large-stroke and high-resolution in macro/micro drive successfully. The dynamic model of the microactuator is set up. The theory analysis on the dynamic character of the system is carried out based on Karnopp “stick-slip” friction model. The physical and mathematical model of the drive part and transmission part are set up respectively by the method of modularization. The transfer function of the system is attained. The tacking simulation is carried out based on fuzzy control with speed change integral, the result is proved that error is 0.004μm.
