Abstract: The present work deals with the Compression After Impact numerical simulations on low velocity impacted glass fibre reinforced composite plates configurations characterised by three different stacking sequences. The damaged numerical FEM models, deriving from impact explicit analyses, have been used as an input to perform explicit analyses simulating the compressive test. The drop, in terms of compressive residual strength, is analysed and discussed. Considerations on the buckling and post-buckling behaviour of these plates under compression are then introduced.

Abstract: CAI is a product of the era development and the problems in the process of its advancement which exist in the understanding and the resource reserve are inevitable. For these phenomena, not only the auxiliary and order principle are supposed to be established in the process of applying the computer technology in teaching, but also the CAI's application value ought to be reexamined. The specific training to teachers of different subjects needs to be strengthened and the construction of CAI network database should be consummated in time.

Abstract: With the development of network education, the importance of the research network teaching system is more and more prominent. The network teaching system an autonomous, distributed teaching environment based on Web by using the network as the carrier of information, construct. Along with the network popularization, the network teaching based on Web will become one of the most important teaching modes of education in the future. Computer assisted instruction (CAI for short) is one of the most advanced means of modern education technology. This paper mainly discusses the application of computer network technology in auxiliary mechanical design course teaching. The advanced network technology in computer aided instruction is introduced in the auxiliary mechanical design course teaching, which is one of the most significant reform teaching systems facing in the 21st century.

Abstract: The CAI technology and Multimedia technology applied in physical teaching can improve the teaching efficiency, arouse the students' interest in learning, improve teachers' teaching ability, promote students' learning enthusiasm and accelerate the update speed of knowledge. The basic program of multimedia courseware development is the courseware topic .design, writing and operation. In education of sports theory teaching, PE teachers using the image and video or other functions of computers to create a variety of situations, improve the theoretical knowledge of visual in practical application. Students can understand theory on the courses more deeply.

Abstract: through the design of teaching aerobics web-based course and application practice, the instructional design process based on B/S learning are analyzed, and discusses several key problems in the design and teaching. This paper presents the resource based learning aerobics teaching design network course should adapt to the application mode of network teaching and traditional classroom combination; that will provide teaching demonstration, teaching contents for students as well as the function of self-testing evaluation and provide the job management, teacher online Q & A, database and knowledge base construction, greatly improving the "aerobics" teaching efficiency.

Abstract: In this paper, the failure modes of the honeycomb sandwich structure under uniaxial compressions after impact (CAI) are analyzed through experiments and Finite Element Method (FEM). Three cases of impact damage location, two cases of impact damage depth and adhesive properties are investigated by the comparisons of corresponding non-destructive structure. Several conclusions are drawn: the failure modes and the initial damage positions obtained from experiments and FEM simulations are almost the same; the location of impact damage may affect the overall loading capabilities of the sandwich structure, whose decreasing rate peaks when the damage is at the top surface and drops when the damage is at the marginal area; different adhesive layer property of interface may lead to the failure mode change, that is, instead of honeycomb core failure, interlaminar failure will occur when the fracture energy of the adhesive layer is low; the damage level and risky location of the structure will vary relevant to the impact energy.

Abstract: In order to translate TRIZ solution into specific solution, situational analogy is introduced. Considering complex case is usually composed of several sub-situations which can be converted to each other, and the conversions between sub-situations contain implicit hint which are useful for the translating process, a knowledge structure of TRIZ case is proposed based on analyzing the relationship among the situation, concept and percept. Based on the proposal knowledge structure, a case searching process is offered. Finally, using the ARIZ process shows the availability of proposal knowledge structure.

Abstract: Synthesize a thermoplastic polyimide (TP-PI) by 4, 4’-Bisphenol A dianhydride (BPADA) and 4, 4’-diaminodiphenyl ether(ODA) to toughen thermosetting polyimide(TS-PI) of BPADA and 3-aminophenylacetylene (APA) system. Improve the toughness of matrix resin by control morphology of blends. The results show that the system has been phase separation, TP-PI as a continuous phase, blends is part miscibility or immiscibility. Compose materials anysis show that the adhesion of resin and fiber have been improved, toughness of resin-based composite materials has been improved at the same time without sacrificing original thermal properties and modulus.

Abstract: In this paper the relationship between CAI and compressive design allowables of composite structures were discussed and it was pointed out that traditional CAI values could not reflect the behavior of composite materials to withstand impact adequately and no relationship between CAI values and compressive design allowables existed. Based on the integrity requirements of composite structures, it was pointed out that the evaluation system of composite materials to withstand impact should include both damage resistance and damage tolerance. Large numbers of test data verified that the knee point phenomenon of composite laminates to withstand impact existed. Based on failure mechanisms, it was proposed that the behavior evaluation system of composite systems to withstand impact was based on the properties at the knee point, that is, the maximum capability to keep integrity of the front plies (the maximum contact force) characterizing damage resistance and the threshold of dent depth(or impact energy)~compressive strength(or failure strain) curves characterizing damage tolerance.

Abstract: A Computer Aided Innovation (CAI) system was constructed for the New Product Development (NPD) engineers of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) precision complex product, which consists of two modules, namely, Knowledge Management (KM) module and innovation process module. KM module was used to manage internal knowledge of enterprise, and innovation process module provides innovation principles and methods for R&D engineer. The whole CAI system was constructed to utilize the internal and external knowledge effectively, also to bring a structured process for problem-identification, problem-solving and solution-generating during NPD process. At last, an engineering application example demonstrates this system can provide innovation support for GNC product.
