Abstract: In sheet metal forming, the fixation of tools in presses has not been considered to be variable for process optimization yet. Every clamping point fixes the tool. Tool areas without a fixation point have a vertical degree of freedom, respectively. Against this background, it seems to be evident that the kind of tool fixation can influence its static and dynamic beahviour. In shear cutting processes, tool vibration is an important phenomenon, as it affects tool wear on the one hand and influences part quality on the other hand. In this paper, a methodology for influencing the tool vibration by specific setups of the clamping situation is introduced.

Abstract: The global development of carbon composite materials has been devoting constantly in still more companies and research institutions. Pre-saturated fabrics known as prepregs have a significant position in this field. The common problem of many worldwide authors is how to determine their tensile strength. The problem with tensile load is mainly due to the extremely high strength of fibers filaments and structural fragility of the thin width of formed profiles. Therefore, indirect methods are usually used. They are based on a determination of the resonant frequencies or on a conversion of values obtained e.g. with bending test. In our case, some experiments have been based on the idea of added a non-composite material into the final structure. The aim of this work was also to find an appropriate modification of a surface of the additional element with regard to a mutual interaction, surface microstructure and mechanical properties of the resulting composite part.

Abstract: This paper proposes an integrated computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing procedure to produce the forging die for experiment, and the forging formability of micro stepped gear was explored. In the forging process, this paper proposes a novel hybrid forging method with a single die set which would execute two forging stages including the first stage of Upsetting and the second stage of Clamping type Gear forging. In the case study, the materials were fully filled into tooth cavity of small gear of module 0.12mm. On the other hand, the estimated unfilled rate of bigger gear is less 8 to 12%, showing this method is exactly feasible.

Abstract: Introduces the structure and the components of industrial robot vision system. Through designing the gripping point, the location of the clamping point can be planned out in the clamping operation, and then by visual recognition algorithms to calculate the coordinate figure of the clamping point relative to the camera. Then the calculated values would transmitted to computer, by whose control of the robot’s move can the operation of clamping on the target object be achieved.

Abstract: Abstract. Analysis of a certain topological structure characteristics of clamping mechanism of injection machine, according to general principles, converts it into only containing Deputy General of the connecting rod and rotating chain. Bodies comprehensive theory of numbers after distribution combined with rod classes are general Atlas of kinematic chain. After identifying design constraints, on the redistribute members and turn the pair, you can get all man foot design requirements of viable specific Atlas of kinematic chains. Then every possible specific kinematic chain materialized to the schematic diagram of mechanism. Designers are on this basis through the kinematics and dynamics analysis to determine the best new clamping mechanism of injection machine.

Abstract: The edger mill stand belonged to the oversized integrated-casted stand-type heavy parts, if it was machined on the planer milling and boring machine, above 90% of the milling and boring process could be completed by only clamping for two times, and more accurate values could be obtained. Improved and changed the numerically-controlled process of this part in the machining process, and all working procedures of the edger mill stand were machined on the numerically-controlled floor-type boring machine with the diameter of 260, thereby accumulating the experience of machining the stand parts with complex cavity sizes and further expanding the scope of numerically-controlled floor boring machine process. The improvement and implementation of NC process on this workrpiece is of important meaning of reference for the kind of parts.

Abstract: In this paper, we describe a mcromanipulate mechanism used the converse piezoelectric effects, The micro-step mechanism based on converse piezoelectric effects is designed. Alternative signals programming from the computer is driving the piezo actuator by means of a dynamic power. The micro step motion of the the micro-step mechanism is realized used the electrostrictive effect and alternative clamping the guide staff, the position of Micro-step Mechanism is precise controlled.Micro gripper that actuated by piezoelectric cantilever was developed for the need of micro parts assembly.

Abstract: This article describes a clamping concept for the flexible machining of spatially curved
profiles developed at the wbk Institute of Production Science of the Universität Karlsruhe (TH).
Simple geometrical considerations form the basis of the prototypically implemented clamping
system design. The approach presented in this article allows for accuracy improvements regarding
the positioning of the profile in the clamping system on the basis of markings applied onto the
surface of the profile. Besides, the preliminary test rig set up and first results on the detection of the
markings by means of digital image processing are presented.
