Abstract: It is important to monitoring the fine particles (PM2.5) in atmosphere as it threatens the public health all over the world. But the existing concentration measuring devices have shortcomings in speed and range. A novel fine particle concentration measuring system based on the ultrasonic attenuation was designed in this paper, which could help to solve the problem. Firstly the mechanism of ultrasonic attenuation in dust cloud was studied to verify the relationship between the concentration and the ultrasonic attenuation. Then the novel concentration measuring system was designed. The micro ultrasonic transducer array was introduced into the system, so the system can be sensitive as well as small. Finally, experiment was conducted to check the performance of this measuring system, and the results show that it could realize measurement quickly.

Abstract: In this paper, common parameters of wine are measured using attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (ATR-FTIR). ATR cell is used which have the advantage of easy filling and cleaning. The parameters include sugar, alcohol, acid,, sugar-free extract, which is routinely measured in the wine quality determination. Commercial wines (n=125) both red and white were analyzed using the ATR-FTIR spectrometer. Reference data were measured based on standard procedure (GB150382006) and performed by technical analyst. Using PLS calibration method samples concentration can be predicted. The accuracy of quantification of main component such as total acidity, sugar, alcohol was excellent, with the measure error low than 1g/L. Some subdivision components are well, that concentration can be predicted in a lower accuracy. Based on the accuracy we obtained, the presented method can be used in winery widely as a fast method for measuring wines content.

Abstract: PM2.5 is a scientific index used for measuring air pollution degree. WHO proposes PM2.5 less than 10 is safe. However, PM2.5 in many areas of China is higher than 50 and even close to 80, which is much higher than that in Sahara Desert. From the perspective of environmental protection and human's physical health, it is necessary for governmental departments to organize environmental monitoring stations for carrying out PM2.5 concentrations monitoring, using the annual concentration of 35 micrograms/m3 as standard and knowing well the dynamics of PM2.5 concentration with all sorts of flexible monitoring methods. Therefore, concerning about these, a study is made in this paper.
