Abstract: Ethylene methacrylate (EMA) copolymer toughened acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS)/polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) were prepared in a co-rotating twin-screw extruder. The effect of EMA on mechanical properties and surface gloss of ABS/PMMA blends was investigated. Experiment results show that the toughness of ABS/PMMA is improved effectively with the incorporation of EMA, while the tensile strength and glossiness decrease slightly. ABS/PMMA/EMA blends present optimum mechanical and luster properties when the content of EMA is 6wt%.

Abstract: s: The paper deals with understanding vibration source, transfer path and vibration of cover sheets by using tools of condition monitoring an experimental modal analysis, namely spectral analysis and frequency response functions. The measurements were selected specifically to an electromotor, a rotor, a shock absorber and the cover sheets and outputs measured were interpreted with regard to achieving the goal of reducing noise and vibration of machines. In this paper is presented using FRF functions as a useful tool for the interpretation of measured data.

Abstract: The aim of this work is to proposed an application of new multi-input, current-mode gates, especially new, accomplishing logical function NOR to implement T-type standard logical function, dual input gate. Current-mode gates consume almost current from the power supply and therefore are suitable for mixed mode operations. Contrary to voltage mode digital gates, presented in the paper current mode gates do not produce strong voltage and current fluctuations in the common substrate of the mechatronics system. Current-mode gates algebra differs from Boole’s one, as besides logical states “0” and “1” also state “-1” occurs. Thanks to “-1” state it is easy to implement T-type standard logical function for which for hardware implementation, new dual-input current-mode gate is suggested, which in effect reduces hardware complexity of projected CMCL (Current–Mode Current Logic) system.

Abstract: The stiffness of externally pressurized air bearing is nonlinear, so it is difficult for nonlinear modeling and modal analysis with Finite Element Modal Analysis(FEMA). In this paper, the spring-mass system method which use linear springs in place of nonlinear air bearing has been developed to make FEMA of externally pressurized air bearing workbench more easier and faster. The actual modes of the workbench have also been attained with Experimental Modal Analysis (EMA). The results of EMA have a good agreement with FEAM results ,which verifies the feasibility of spring-mass system method.

Abstract: The experimental modal analysis (EMA) applied in vibrating solidification and vibrating ageing of the cast iron elements has been discussed in this paper. The stimulating frequency、excitation area(wave crest)、supporting area and the way of excitation of this cast iron element can be chosen accurately according to the eigenvalue of vibration parameters and the dynamic display of the measurement. If multiple excitation is needed, the principle natural frequency can be adjusted according to the dynamic display as the partial differences and the characteristics change of the elements. The experiment shown that using EMA excitation parameters can get a better technical effect than those of static solidification、heat ageing or other experience excitation ageing. Vibrating solidification can make a fine crystalline and the hardness of the full section is relative high; Vibrating ageing can get a better stress distribution and raise the ability of anti-deformation.
