Abstract: For path planning and program generation of multi-type holes, this paper presents a method of the path planning, by using the improved genetic algorithm based on chaos algorithm, and develops an interactive programming system for multi-type holes. Users can choose regular holes, and input the parameters and the necessary information, according to their needs. Then the system will combine holes automatically, and calculate the position coordinates of each hole. After that the path planning is carried out by using the improved genetic algorithm. Finally, the system carries out the simulation experiment of the path planning, and outputs NC program. Experiment shows the system can realize the path planning of multi-type holes by a combination of regular holes and generate the NC code after path planning. The optimization of path is better and the operation is more convenient than UG and other professional CAM software.

Abstract: It is frequently the case that the feed rate indicated in a numerical control (NC) program does not obtain in actual machining processes and the cutting tool does not path the points indicated in the NC. A reason underlying such problems is that control gains are not optimized, which causes issues with acceleration and deceleration in the control of machine tools. To address these problems, in this paper, we propose a method for the optimization of control gains using the MATLAB and Simulink software by considering the weight of the workpiece, the controlling distance, and the controlling speed. Simulations confirmed the effectiveness of our proposed optimization.

Abstract: With pelton turbines and other complex three-dimensional structure cavities that contains various shaped surfaces and all kinds of larger curvature, the three-axis CNC machine with a tool rotary to achieve the four coordinate overall Pelton CNC machining. According to processing characteristics of pelton runner, the paper determines the selection of materials and the overall structure of the tool. And the appropriate way of milling and milling parameters are made. The overall processing program and processing parameters of pelton runner are designed on this basis. The feasibility of the process and cutting route are verified by the simulation of cutting route and experiments.

Abstract: Today's modern production already not does without sophisticated CAD/CAM system. The present CAD/CAM systems integrate part modelling and engineering design, proposal of technological documentation in the form of NC programs and operational management of production within a one computer system. Their utilization allows the programmer to create machining technology, to define the tool paths and to generate NC programs for very complex shape parts. The article focuses on the use of CAD/CAM system Edgecam, in the formation of the machining process for a milling Machine Emco Concept Mill (CM) 105. It describes the creation of postprocessor for Sinumerik 840D control system and its application and verifying in the production of specific components.

Abstract: This paper proposed the machining scheme of front and back combined for the blade according to the characteristics of the aero engine blades. Then the authors analyzed the entire process of the blade machining in detail, it included the machining resource selection, the process route development and NC programming created. Finally through the specific practices to verify the feasibility of the machining program.

Abstract: In non-circular contour grinding process, a theoretical model of constant linear velocity grinding has been established based on the X-C Axis linkage motion principle of grinding machine. Based on this theoretical model, a numerical calculation model, which can be used for practical grinding process and can optimize and regulate the grinding speed, has be built by way of cubic spline fitting interpolation method. The calculated numerical result of this model can switch into NC code of some NC system. According to the motion principle of grinding machine, the geometry information of specific non-circle contour part and the real parameter of the grinding processing plan, the corresponding NC Programming function also has been modularized. An experiment has been done on the NC high speed camshaft grinding machine type of CNC8312A, and obtained the ideal processing effect.At the same time ,it also shows that the proposed method has strong practical feasibility and great practical value.

Abstract: To achieve the processing program and simulation verification on NC Woodworking Curve Band Saw (WCBS) that facilitates the industrialization and practicality of the woodworking machinery, the articles proposes the CAM system modules by the analysis of its composition structure and working principle of the machine and the building-up of its kinematics model. The article also explains the basic functions for each module and develops the CAM systems of MJS1325 WCBS with the use of VC++ and OpenGL. Reading and analyzing the CAD work piece graphics files, the CAM systems is able to generate the NC program and realize the simulation of machining in whole visual process environment including saws, fixtures, belt saw and work piece, etc. The CAM systems pass the prototype test and see a favorable effect.

Abstract: Abstract. This paper designs a CAM system for a jewelry-making CNC machine. The CAM system not only provides a human-computer interface for setting machining parameters, but also can generate special NC programs automatically and realize the simulation for the machining process. In addition, the paper gives an efficient application for machining an ellipsoidal gold bead. The basic design of the jewelry-making CAM system and the experimental results are presented.

Abstract: This paper presents a postprocessor for five-axis milling machine that capable of converting CL (cutter location) data to machine control data (NC program). The proposed postprocessor method is based on inverse kinematics transformation and postprocessor module is programmed in Visual Basic language. The Deckel Maho DMU 50 eVoluion five-axis machine with two rotary axes (B and C) on the table is modeled and verified in software VERICUT® to validate the NC data generated by proposed postprocessor.

Abstract: This paper presents further results in addressing this issue and builds upon the results obtained within the project GACR No. 101/07/0751 (research was supported by Czech Grant Agency), and the findings and information obtained from grant project GACR No. 101/05/2562. The problems are oriented to the production and sharpening of rotary tools, especially because all the know-how is owned by foreign companies. The main chapter is devoted to "Solution of the dependance of undercutting of the helical grooves on the grinding wheel diameter, its thickness and depth of the cut" at zero thickness of the grinding wheel. This method is an original analytical method for calculating the undercutting and is a part of the theoretical studies of the grinding helix slot. Then follows a passage, which defines the actual width of the spiral groove profiles at various grinding wheels. The present article summarizes only part of a broad range of problems in the area.
