Abstract: The curved surface of friction forging mould parts is a smooth surface which consist of circular arc camber and slope surface. Using UG as a platform, we can Carry on the processing programming and tool path simulation for the friction forging mould parts. According to the same parts we can use different cutting ways and methods to processing programming. By comparing the different cutting ways,we can obtained the optimal tool path and the ways to solve round knife phenomenon. In this way, we can Complete the programming of the forging mould parts and improve the correctness of the programming efficiency. The program's establishment method and thought Can act as a reference for the parts which has the same characteristics.

Abstract: The cloud computing can allocate computer resources according to customers different demand dynamic status, which has improved the calculation efficiency, and saved the cost of hardware. This paper establishes the 3D mathematical model of data programming tool radius compensation system, and gets the tool radius compensation control equation according to the interpolation function. It designs the tool radius compensation discrimination system with the combination of UG software. In order to verify the validity and reliability of the system, the paper takes the processing process of leaf as an example to design the tool radius compensation algorithm, and the compensation deviation has been made numerical simulation, which has obtained error compensation curve and tool radius compensation parameter table. It can obtain reasonable tool compensation cutter and cycle according to the input of tool parameters, which provides technical support for the research of numerical control (NC) machining technology.

Abstract: Realization of the control programs for controlling of the numerically controlled (NC) manufacturing machines is very important in manufacturing practice in this time. Manufacturing process of the parts with complex and free form figures is realized by NC manufacturing machines application. It is very difficult without application of personal computers with special software. Very often this software can be Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) system. These programs for control of NC manufacturing machines can be realised by other methods, too. In paper is presented new method of NC programs preparation by Group Technology theory application.

Abstract: To improve quality and efficiency of NC machining sequencing, an approach to order the machining features of aircraft structural parts is introduced in accordance with the principle of hierarchical planning, knowledge and geometry-based reasoning method. The main contents consist of: (1) Machining cell and its geometric descriptions are established, and the method for decomposing generalized pocket (GP) into machining cells is proposed. (2) Based on the GP relationship tree, data model and algorithm for generating machining chain are presented. (3) Machining process segmenting, feature grouping and sequencing rules are formulated by communicating with related experts. (4) Priority graph and relationship matrix of features are applied to describe the machining precedence. The developed approach has been applied in Intelligent NC Programming System of Aircraft Structural Parts and is validated through a case study.

Abstract: With the development of NC machine tool and NC machining, the postprocessor is play a vital role increasingly, which is an interface of operations in CAM and NC machine tools transformed cutter location data into machining control data. The general kinematics model of various machine tools was constructed by analysis of machine tools configuration and NC control systems. The coordinates were of machining files calculated using Coordinate transformation matrix in the process of post-processing. Finally, a postprocessor develop by VC++ and secondary development tool in UG, through the implementation of the postprocessor and the verification with the commercial NC simulation software VERICUT as well as the machining experiment, the effectiveness of the proposed methods were demonstrated.

Abstract: The four axis linkage grinding simulation system of ball-nose end mill has be developed based on the mathematical model of four axis linkage grinding through establishing ball-nose end mill's parametrical database, constructing ball-nose end mill’s and grinding wheel's solid models in Solidworks, simulating the grinding processes of the rake face and flank face of ball-nose end mill based on Boolean operation, and automatic NC programming of rake face and flank face grinding. The results show the grinding simulation system can be used to manufacture ball end mill.
