Abstract: The development of computer simulation technology makes virtual reality technology gradually applied to various fields. The implementation of virtual campus roaming system is an important embodiment. This paper combines with 3 d graphics rendering engine Open Scene Graph to study virtual campus interactive roaming system with a variety of functions. First of all, this paper introduces basic technologies interactive functions needed such as matrix transformation, quaternion in OSG, expounds OSG scene roaming theory, key research and implements human-computer interaction function of collision detection, scene roaming and path roaming, which introduces the switch between scene roaming, viewpoint following, path roaming by button C, and make campus roaming system have good immersion and realities and real-time performance.

Abstract: In order to improve the authenticity of human-computer interaction in the virtual scene, the data glove is used. Aimed at this sensor input device for the characteristic of multiple-joints, the collection and calibration method of original data are discussed. By analyzing the movement characteristics of human hand, mapping from human hand to virtual hand is accomplished. By embedding OSG in MFC, with the intersect vector method and map projection method, invoking the 3D ship engine room and interactive effect of people roaming in the scene are reached. And at last, by using the data glove, the interventional manipulation of virtual objects in the virtual scene is implemented.

Abstract: As to the difficult problem of simulation and deduction for the scheme optimization design and equipment support ability of measurement and control equipment, A set of software for simulating tracking ability of measurement and control equipment is developed based on MapX and OSG. It solves a series of problems including creating simulation models for measurement and control equipment, simulation of tracking ability and situation in 2-D GIS and 3-D GIS, rapid and visual method for designing and creating simulation route, dynamic state display for deduction data and etc. The work in this paper will provide theoretic foundation for station distribution, tracking strategy and safety control of TT&C system, which also raises the ability of TT&C system engineering design in shooting range.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to combine Java and OpenSceneGraph(OSG) for the development of 3D scene graph, and to play their individual advantages. This paper introduced the scene management, rendering process and other relevant theoretical knowledge about OSG, and elaborated the method about using OSG in java environment through java's JNI technology. According to this method, the constructing, rendering and dynamic roam of a simple 3D scene graph about one frontage road were realized, and the concrete realization processes of the application introduced in this essay. The results show java can be combined with OSG for the development of 3D scene graph friendly.

Abstract: The method to set up visual environment of flight simulation was studied with Open Scene Graph (OSG) technology, and it includes the method and steps to build three dimensional digital earth, the method to read out airport and aircraft model, the method to simulate meters in the cockpit of an aircraft, and the method to simulate an aircraft fly in the visual digital earth environment, etc. Then software was written in VC++ based on the methods and steps given in this paper. The running results of the software in a personal computer shows that OSG technology can build up realistic simulation environment of flight visualization, and it is very helpful to realize realistic feeling and immersion of flight vision simulation of an aircraft in three dimensional digital earth.

Abstract: Firstly, it was studied about how to build three dimensional digital earth with Open Scene Graph (OSG) technology. Then the methods and steps of drawing three dimensional flight route of an aircraft and making an aircraft fly along flight route planed in the digital earth with OSG were studied and put forward. Finally software was written in VC++ based on the methods and steps given in this paper. The running results of the software show that it is very convenient to make flight route of an aircraft visualize with OSG technology, and it is very useful to improve efficiency to plan flight route of an aircraft.

Abstract: By combining three-dimensional panorama technology with geometric modeling technology, the models of the primary and secondary equipment of substations are built to get a three-dimensional (3D) virtual environment. This method makes it easy to view the equipments and improves the integration of substation monitoring information. This paper analyzes and discusses two kinds of solutions which are based on Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) and Open Scene Graph (OSG) together with Qt as the main technologies.
