Abstract: The catalytic oxidation of NOx from waste gas was investigated using advanced oxidation process based on sulfate radicals. The manganese oxide immobilized on graphene oxide (GO) can activate peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for the oxidation of NOx in water. The Mn3O4/GO catalyst system exhibited efficient activity for NOx oxidation when the Mn3O4/GO catalyst loaded an optimum Mn3O4. In addition, 52.28% oxidation could be achieved within 60 min with 0.25 mM catalyst, and 2 mM PMS. Therefore, the results may have significant technical implication for utilizing Mn2+/PMS to oxidize NOx for offgas treatment.

Abstract: This paper compared two kinds of catalysts, Co3O4/GO and Mn3O4/GO, which were applied to catalyze PMS for NOx oxidation. The parameters of the pH, PMS concentration, catalyst concentration, reaction time and the temperature were investigated. Under the same parameters, the results showed that the oxidation efficiency were 70% and 50%, respectively.

Abstract: A novel SiC precursor antimony-substituted polymethylsilane (APS) is present in this paper. First, pre-APS was synthesized from polymethylsilane (PMS) and SbCl3 at room temperature. Pre-APS was a liquid mixture and could be used in PIP process without solvent. After the elemination of HCl and the crosslinking of pre-APS, the novel precursor APS with the ceramic yield 91% was prepared.
