Abstract: Based on kansei engineering theory, with mobile phone model as the research object, on the speciation analysis of deconstruction, study of the correlation between form design elements and subjective feeling. To obtain mobile phone simulation modeling samples by the concept of orthogonal test. Through collecting a large number of perceptual image vocabulary, the multiple scale method, class cluster method was applied to typical filtered emotional vocabulary, as the shape of subjective evaluation metrics. Using the mobile phone modeling sample obtained from the screened and representative emotional semantic difference experiment on the emotional reactions of vocabulary, get the corresponding relation between mobile phones form design elements and subjective evaluation value. Quantitative fuzzy uncertainty of emotional problem, and using kansei engineering theory to improve product that cares consumers emotional has become the direction of product design.

Abstract: This paper introduces a new product modeling method: MAPMNM (Multi-Agent Based Product Modeling for Networked Manufacturing) based on analysing the requirements of product modeling. The method offers a unified product master model and distributed domain models to alliance enterprise based on network by using web service and the agent technology of AI domain. Firstly, the paper gives the framework of the MAPMNM.Secondly, it elaborates on the web services, the architecture and running menchanism of the domain agent in MAPMNM.

In this paper, product modeling, collaborative product configuration method, the configuration process and the collaborative design of products were studied, collaborative product development system - CPDS collaborative product development system." In this article, the work form of collaborative product development system, configuration structures of CPDS, and function of composition were main studied, and the general idea of system implementation CPDS was given.

CAD/CAM technology consists of computer-aided design and computer aid manufacture. The paper presents an analysis on CAD/CAM Technology Application in forklift product model-making, where the product model-making for the CAD/CAM manufacture includes modeling CAD/CAM technology in the product data model and CAD/CAM integration NC programming system in the product model NC machining applications.

Abstract: Product modeling or prototype is an important part of new product development. After comparing the characteristics of physical model, digital prototype, and virtual prototype in new development product design, we propose to build augmented products model based on Augmented Reality technology. It has the characteristics of real-time interactivity, short production cycles, real feeling as physical prototype, and small equipment investment. Two model construction techniques are highlighted in the system developed by ARToolKit used as a development platform in the construction of augmented model. One is a direct construction technique based on OpenGL, and the other is an indirect construction technique based on 3D software and OpenGL,the virtual model is integrated into real scene in ARToolKit. Finally, implementations for the two methods are described in detail and examples are given, which indicates that the proposed augmented product modeling technique is practicable and feasible .

Abstract: The product modeling method based on UML is presented in order to solve the consistency problem of definition, process and resources in the product life-cycle, and meet the need of developing the system from various viewports. Through the definition of three-layer product model structure included “product meta-meta model layer”, “product meta model layer” and the “product model layer” and its contents and their interrelation, the definition of a product modeling and constraint unity have been achieved to. The practical application reflects the validity and the feasibility of UML-based product modeling method.

Abstract: A new product modeling method for product multidisciplinary collaborative design (MCD) is put forward. The method uses a flexible product model which can be extended transversely and lengthwise by multiple levels’ inheritance and new attribute classes’ addition and a class inheritance mechanism under network environment which allows each discipline to build own view model of a product. An open and flexible system architecture supporting the product MCD effectively is put forward, and prototype system implementation is introduced.
