Abstract: This paper was focused on the research of remote spinning process collaborative products development system based on Internet. The research was mainly to establish textile products and process designs, which could lead to the Processing Public Service Platform for the small and medium sized enterprises. The project is supported by the IMAR (Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region) Natural Science Foundation. In this study, the cotton spinning technology is taken as an example emphatically in the thesis. Related processing examples could be inquired by process designers, the process parameters could also be optimized while they select and call the process parameters from related main process of cotton spinning in spinning process parameters calculate system, and then the enterprise coalition cooperated to design product and process by use remote-data interview and synergism.

Abstract: Rough sets theory (RST) is a new data mining method that effectively deals with the problems with inexact, uncertain or vague knowledge in a complex information system. This paper investigates knowledge discovery methods from the textile industrial database, and then presents a RST-based intelligent control model (ICM) for spinning process. In order to analyze the yarn strength when the characteristics of fibers are given, a rule extraction method based on RST is researched. The logical rules extracted from the decision table indicate that the initial strength of fibers is a key factor influencing on the yarn strength. At the same time, the different values combination of the final reduced attributes also obviously influence on the yarn strength in different degree when the certain nominal yarn is being processed. Therefore, RST method can be taken into account for spinners to choose suitable fiber materials in order to ensure the quality and reduce cost.

Abstract: The yarn production is a complex industrial process, and the relation between the spinning variables and the yarn properties has not been established conclusively so far. In fact, the existing process cases which were recorded to ensure the ability to trace production steps can also be used to optimize the process itself. This paper presents a novel process decision model based on CBR and SVM hybird intelligence for optimization of large numbers of spnning parameters. The applied cases are demonstrated that the intelligent model to optimizing the spinning process is promising.

Abstract: In this paper, the spinning process of automotive wheel rim is simulated with the finite element software DEFORM-3D. The forming of the automotive wheel rim based on finite element method is completed by the improvement of the spinning process. it can be divided into three different stages: spinning stage, flattening stage and shaping stage. The reference data for technological parameter of spinning process is achieved. The results are useful to the further research of the spinning process of automotive wheel rim.

Abstract: Poly (Lactic Acid) ultrafine fibers were obtained from melt electrospinning in the present work, using a home-made device. To study the effect of main technological parameters on fiber diameter in melt electrospinning, orthogonal design was adopted to examine spinning distance, spinning voltage and melt temperature. Meanwhile, the motion of the jet flow was recorded to help explain the influencing mechanism. Results showed that spinning voltage had the highest impact on the average diameters compared to other considered parameters (spinning distance and melt temperature). fibers with smallest diameter could be produced at 15 kV, 10 cm and 190 o C.

Abstract: The spinning process of regeneration feather protein /PVA fiber is introduced in this article; The concentration and the solubility temperature of peracetic acid , ultrasonic processing time and the proportion of regeneration feather protein /PVA are selected as analysis objects, the fibers are extracted according to 9 orthogonal expts combinations, and the fiber’s performances are tested. Test schemes are optimized using gray clustering analysis which calculating process is showed with Matlab.

Abstract: Limited studies exist related to the siro-spun spinning of flax ( Linum usitatissimum L.) and cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) blends. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of various siro-spun processing parameters, including twist factor, space between two rovings and specification of traveler, on yarn qualities, such as yarn hairiness, tenacity and evenness. Results show that both specification of traveler and space between two rovings significantly influenced yarn hairiness and evenness, and heavier traveler and greater space led to decreased hairiness, but bad evenness. Twist factor influenced yarn evenness highly significantly, and smaller twist factor led to worse yarn evenness. Results also indicate the optimum levels of siro-spun process parameters as follows: twist factor αm = 150, space between two rovings 8 mm, traveler Fo 5/0. In relation to the general ring-spinning yarn, the siro-spun spinning yarns had decreased hairiness, little increased tenacity and similar evenness.
