Abstract: The present study focused on boundary morphology of campus, which took part of universities of Yangtze River Delta Region as examples. The influence factors of campus boundary were discussed based on the analysis of space, function and transportation forms of campus boundary, which led to the author's strategies and opinions of optimizing boundary morphology of campus boundary.

Abstract: The Yangtze River Delta was selected as a case study to evaluate urban sustainability based on the index system, which was composited of economic development, social development, resources and environmental press. Factor analysis was applied to extract principal component. Then based on the factor scores of the principal components extracted from three aspects, four urbanization types are obtained.

Abstract: The purpose of the research was to establish an index analysis system for evaluating the low-carbon cities development. DPSIR model was adopted to build an index system for low-carbon city evaluation. In this research, two different approaches were adopted for the empirical analysis of low-carbon city development evaluation. The one approach was DPSIR model for building an index system of low-carbon city evaluation; the other was the Factor Analysis which was introduced to calculate the weight of factors and evaluate low-carbon development in Yangtze River Delta. The results disclosed that the technology factor took account more weight in “driving force” index, the resource consumption factor play more important role in “pressure” index; the weight of exhaust emission factor was equal to the social low-carbon level factor in “state” index. The conclusion of empirical research was that the cities such as Yancheng, Wuxi, and Suzhou had higher scores, but the low-carbon city development in Zhejiang province was better than the cities in Jiangsu province and Shanghai area.

Abstract: Urban logistic capability is an importation area of urban competition capability. The competitiveness index system of city logistics service outsourcing was constructed in this paper. According the actual situation of 4 cities in China's Yangtze River delta, the competitiveness evaluation of logistics service outsourcing of them were carried out based on TOPSIS method. Furthermore, by comparing we can discover the experience and main existing problems of urban logistics service outsourcing, so as for the feasible countermeasures of development to provide the scientific basis. The evaluation method has certain practical value.

Abstract: Central Business District (CBD) is not only is the central district of a city, but also the product of economic and the third industry development. Meanwhile, in the metropolitan of China, there are large number requirements of the CBD construction for sub-regional cities. In Yangtze River Delta metropolitan, the cities such as Ningbo, Suzhou, Wuxi, Jiaxing, Huzhou, Shaoxing, Zhoushan, Yangzhou, Changzhou, Taizhou, Zhenjiang, Nantong, most of which GDP have reached 1000 billion Yuan and owned the initial economic base for the CBD construction. However, compared with the regional city or the world city, the sub-regional city’s CBD has the differences in scale, spatial form, the development operation and traffic patterns. In this paper, the sub-regional city in Yangtze River Delta— Changzhou is taken as research object,the CBD construction theory and urban design method are proposed to provide reference for similar area .

Abstract: Geochemical elements, significant indicator of environmental change,have been widely used in paleoenvironment research. By comparative analysizing of sediment’s geochemical characterstics of core PJ and core ZX-1, almost opposite relations was found between them. In Holocene, there are repeated transgression-regression cycles and the deposition profile of core PJ was in the critical zone of transgression-regression. When climate was warm and humid, sea-level rose, the sedimentary environmental salinity increased and ability of element eluviate-leaching were weak, geochemical elements can not be effectively separated. On the contrary, when climate was dry and cold, sea-level became lower, the role of the element eluviate-leaching was enhanced, and different geochemical elements can be effective separated. This mechanism enables that indicators significance of core PJ’s geochemistry element changing is the opposite direction to other regions.

Abstract: The method of Set Pair Analysis is to study the certain and uncertain relationship between the different things and the key of this method is to calculate the connection degree of these things. In order to assess the urbanization levels, this paper proposed a new method to establish the assessment standards according to the value of assess indexes. The urbanization level of Yangtze River delta cities was assessed by Set Pair Analysis, and the results calculated are generally consistent with Nonlinear Mapping Analysis and Factor Analysis. Set Pair Analysis can provide an effective solution to urbanization assessment. The proposed method of standards establishment and Set Pair Analysis can also be used in other areas without unified assessment standards.
