Abstract: The diagonal-matrix-weight IMM (DIMM) algorithm can solve the IMM algorithm confusions of probability density functions (PDFs) and probability masses of stochastic process. Combingandfilter,the Fast-IMM algorithm has a better performance both in accuracy and reducing computational complexity. In order to improve the estimation accuracy and computational complexity,we apply Fast-IMM method to DIMM algorithm. Therefore,A new method, Fast diagonal-matrix-weight IMM (fast-DIMM) algorithm, is proposed in this paper to heighten the real-time application of DIMM algorithm. Simulations indicate that the proposed fast-DIMM algorithm is a competitive alternative algorithm to the IMM algorithm in real time application

Abstract: This paper discusses the modeling of Electrowetting On Dielectric (EWOD) device that moves fluid droplets through surface tension effects and electric force. Instead of using a static contact angle as most papers did, we take the dynamic contact angle into count by using expression proposed by Voinov and Tanner. Firstly, the level set model and its initial values is present. Then the governing equations are discussed, and the diffused format is adopted for density and viscosity varies to smooth over the interface. The detailed expression for surface tension and electric force are also described for Navier–Stokes equations. After presenting the boundary conditions, the steps of numerical implementation are detailed.

Abstract: Peer-to-peer (P2P) architectures have been proposed as an efficient and truly scalable solution for distributed virtual environments (DVEs). However, heavy and unbalanced network load has restricted the development of large scale DVEs. To solve this problem, this paper attempts to apply the mobile agent technology in DVEs. First, the virtual environment space was divided into a number of adjacent sub-spaces. Then, using the agent mobility, entities models moved themselves to the adjacent sub-space, and completed interactions with other entities in the sub-space. As a result, a significant part network load is transformed into local calculation load. The theoretical analysis results show that it is feasible and effective to ease the network communications bottleneck in the expansion of the DVEs.

Abstract: In this study, an experiment platform was built up to determine the key parameter, mass transfer coefficient, of the ventilation and dehumidification process in main cable of suspension bridge. On the basis of experimental studies, an empirical formula of the mass transfer coefficient was obtained, which can greatly contribute to control the content of moisture in the main cable of suspension bridges.

Abstract: The accurate estimate to remaining power of the lithium battery has a very important significance to continued operation of the electric vehicle. Based on the electrochemical mechanism of lithium batteries during charge and discharge, by using the genetic algorithms to determine the weights of the SVM network, a combination algorithm is applied to estimate state-of-charge and the initial condition of network is optimized and has less error to the network. The simulation results show that the optimization network has higher precision for lithium battery SOC forecast method and can be used to estimate the lithium battery SOC value of the electric vehicle

Abstract: That compressed sensing is used in online monitoring of stored grain information could reduce the mass of information storage space and transmission bandwidth. However, due to the question that compressed sensing reconstructed error may cause decision-end to make wrong decision, a limited feedback error controlling method is proposed, wrong decision-making caused by reconstruction error is solved through feedback a small number of critical data. Numerical experiments on barn temperature shows that this method, on the basis of costing a small amount of compression ratio, can effectively improve the quality of reconstructed signal.

Abstract: This paper proposes a new chaotic communication scheme which is developed from Differential Chaos Shift Keying (DCSK), named reversed-phase overlay DCSK. Different from DCSK, at the receiver of the improved scheme the first and the second half-symbol signals within a code period are reversed-phase overlapped before the correlation operation. Both the theoretical analysis and the simulation results show that the proposed scheme can effectively suppress the noise and improve the BER performance of DCSK if the channel noise in the first half of a code period and the second is positively correlated. The proposed scheme can be applied to the communication systems suffering with colored noise, such as Low-voltage Power Line Communication(L-PLC) system

Abstract: This article, through the cylinder jacket break phenomenon which occurs to the diesel engine early time carries on the failure analysis, suggests that the cylinder jacket material ingredient control is lax, causes the cylinder jacket material brittleness to be oversized, the tool escape acute angle is the cylinder jacket break primary cause, and proposes corresponding regulatory measures prevent the cylinder jacket early tithe break.
