Abstract: Taking A-C axis dual rotary working table of 5-axis CNC system as an example, the function of RTCP is introduced and the performing difference between standard NC code and RTCP code is analyzed in this paper. Then, the calculation method of RTCP compensation error has been illustrated. Taking the high precision as the objective, a new real time compensation RTCP module theory is presented and its algorithm implementation process is introduced. Then, this algorithm has been simulated using MATLAB and validated in hardware platform.

Abstract: Recently, the application of fieldbus is becoming a trend in the development of CNC system towards decentralisation, network and multi-axis linkage. It is anticipated that fieldbus will be one of the leading technologies in the area of numerical control before long. Meanwhile, embedded system has been widely used in numerical control field to solve the reliability and real-time problems. In order to give full play to the advantages of embedded systems, the MECHATROLINK-II fieldbus is introduced to solve the transmission bottleneck of servo communications and multi-axis synchronous control problems. And it is proved that the application scheme combined fieldbus and embedded system is successful and valid by a large amount of performance testings.

Abstract: This paper establishes the simulation error data models of roundness error, spindle rotation error and noise signal from the characteristics of error signal based on three-point method. From the Matlab simulation, the influence of installation angle error of the sensor, roundness error magnitude and the noise on the segregation accuracy was studied in detail. This makes up the deficiencies of previous studies, and also provides a good foundation for further improving the accuracy of three-point method.

Abstract: This paper taken the flat-end tool and machined surface as a pair of mutually conjugate space contact tooth envelope surface and used the Frenet frame of differential geometry to describe the NC machining tool path in five-axis CNC machining of mold surface with flat-end tool. Thus the geometric model in five-axis CNC machining of mold surface with flat-end tool was established.
