Abstract: This paper investigated synthesis of Lanthanum oxide nanoparticles by precipitation method. Effects of reactant concentration, precipitator and dispersant agent on properties of Lanthanum oxide particles were studied. Lanthanum oxide particles were characterized by XRD and SEM. Experimental results showed that ammonium bicarbonate and PEG20000 were appropriate precipitation and dispersant respectively. The optimum process conditions were as follows: concentration of Lanthanum nitrate was 0.18mol/L, concentration ammonium bicarbonate of was 0.6mol/L, reaction temperature was 30. The average particles size of Lanthanum oxide powders with spherical shape gained was about 188 nm.

Abstract: According to the components of bluecoke furnace gas by rich oxygen carbonization, the methane conversion and methanol synthesis processes with simulation mix gas were separately researched using the self-made catalysts. The results show that the conversion rate of methane could achieve about 95% under the conditions of temperature of 800°C, space velocity of 9000h-1 and the ratio of water to hydrocarbon of about 3.0 with self-made Ni/γ-Al2O3 catalyst. For synthesis of methanol with self-made CuO-ZnO-Al2O3 catalyst in fixed reactor from the reformed gas, the space time yield and selectivity of coarse methanol respectively reached 1.5451g•g-1•h-1 and 99.6143% under the conditions of temperature of 240°C, pressure of 5.5MPa and space velocity of 12000h-1.

Abstract: The paper investigates the molding process of producing formed coke with low rank pulverized coal. When the bentonite as binder, the technological conditions mainly including bentonite content, forming pressure, forming moisture and particle size factors which effect on the strength of formed cokes were systematically discussed and obtained the optimal conditions. Under the conditions of amount of bentonite 5%, forming pressure 40kN, moisture content 14%, and fine coal particle size<5mm the formed coke with strength of 600N/ball was prepared and it satisfied the standard of gasification behavior of formed coke.

Abstract: The multi-layer copper/nickel foam was prepared by the electrodeposition methods adopted the polyurethane as frame foundation. The foam is provided with a three-dimension grid structure and porosity of 96%-98%. The morphology of foam was examined by scanning electron microscope in synthesis procedure. The main physical characteristics of multi-layer copper/nickel foam were determined. Its apparent density and pore size are 190-210 kg/m3 and 1.4-1.7 mm respectively.

Abstract: The low-cost blue coke industrial by-product, blue coke powder was used as raw material for the production of porous carbons adsorbent by steam activating at temperature of 800°C under the atmosphere of N2 for 60 minutes. The specific surface area and pore properties of the adsorbent were characterized by using N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms. Furthermore, the adsorption effects of the adsorbent for ammonia nitrogen in coking wastewater were investigated in terms of particle size, dosage of absorbent and adsorption time. The results show that the specific surface area is 620.94m2/g, the total pore volume is 0.4442cm3/g and the average mesopore size is 4.5808nm, the adsorbent possesses predominant mesoporous structures. In aeration, the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen can reach to 39.5% under the conditions of the ammonia nitrogen concentration of 625mg/L, the dosage of adsorbent 10g/L at the adsorption time of 60 minutes.

Abstract: The flower-sphere molybdenum disulfide has been synthesized by reaction of Na2MoO4 and CS(NH2)2 with NH2OH·HCl or H2C2O4 as reductant. The microstructure and chemical composition of the product were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope. XRD patterns showed that the molar ratio of Mo to S had a great effect on the purity of the product. When the molar ratio of Mo to S was 1:5, the product was nearly pure MoS2. SEM images showed that the particle size increased as the molar ratio of Mo to S reduced. The MoS2 microspheres had rough surfaces and were constructed with sheet-like structures in the two systems. But the product from the system of NH2OH·HCl as reductant has the bigger particle size, clearer petal-sheets, coarser surface and weaker agglomeration than that from the system H2C2O4 as reductant. The possible chemical reactions in hydrothermal systems were preliminarily discussed.

Abstract: The microwave is the electromagnetic radiation with the frequency in the between 300 MHz~300GHz. The microwave technology in metallurgy application research are mainly in heating, drying, oxide reduction, mineral processing such as the pretreatment of refractory gold and waste treatment, and metal recovery. The stone coal vanadium ore grinded was dealt with the microwave pretreatment in this article, in order to study the effect of factors such as the heating-up characteristics and weightlessness rate of this ore, and then the ore by pretreatment was carried on the leaching experiments, compared with the vanadium mine with no microwave pretreatment, the results was shown that every different microwave pretreatment way were able to improve leaching rate. The ore pretreated by microwave with heating 5 minutes, the leaching rate was improved almost 13% compared with the routine leaching. If the time for no treatment was increased, the stone coal vanadium ore had been already sintered, instead, reducing the leaching rate.
