Abstract: Sendust soft magnetic composites coated by a thin Ba-B-P-O system insulating layer were produced; SEM spectroscopy and Energy dispersive X-ray analysis spectroscopy confirmed that thin layers of Ba-B-P-O system covered the alloy powders. The influence of various compaction pressures on composites permeability, DC properties and total loss was investigated. The Fe-Si-Al magnetic powder core with compaction pressure of 1932MPa, annealing temperature of 953K with a permeability of 94, a total loss of 108 mW/cm3.

Abstract: The mineral processing experimental research was carried out on the hematite bearing characteristics of low grade, fine grain, complex composition. The results showed that using the technological flowsheet of “stage grinding- low intensity magnetic separation”, the iron concentrate with recovery of 36.56% and grade of 65.85% Fe can be obtained. And the iron concentrate with recovery of 17.23% and grade of 63.53% Fe can be obtained by “stage grinding-HIMS process-reverse flotation” process. The final iron concentrate with TFe grade of 65.10%,yield of 19.19% and total iron recovery of 53.79% from the raw ores with TFe grade of 23.41% was obtained, with the first stage grinding size being 55% -0.074mm and the second stage,93% -0.074mm.

Abstract: In this paper, the polyaniline (PANI) coated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) was prepared in situ polymerization. Adding PANI/MWNTs into epoxy resin(EP), we got PANI / MWNTs / EP composite microwave absorbing materials. Through testing permittivity 、permeability and reflection loss of materials, the paper showed the effect of PANI/MWNTS to the dielectrical and microwave absorbing properties of materials. The results showed: PANI/MWNTs had great effect on dielectrical and microwave absorbing properties of materials. But the imaginary permeability was close to 0. That indicated that it mainly consumed electromagnetic wave by dielectric loss. In 200-1000MHZ, materials had better absorbing property and lower reflection loss (-13.6).

Abstract: A set of precision vertical grinding experiment on WC-CO cemented tungsten carbide materials was carried out using cubic boron nitride (CBN) grinding wheel. Different grinding parameters such as rotation speeds of workpiece, feed rates and grinding depths were employed during precision vertical grinding. Surface roughness was measured for studying the grinding charateristics of WC-CO cemented tungsten carbide in this removal mode. Optimal grinding parameters were obtained by changing the process parameters. The research results have an important significance to improve grinding quality and efficiency for precision grinding cemented tungsten carbide materials.

Abstract: Self-monitoring asphalt concrete has a good strain and damage self-sensing behavior. We can evaluate the structural health and service life of asphalt concrete by the monitoring of damage. In this paper, some construction technology research, including electrode arrangement, temperature control, mixing technology, transportation requirements, compaction technology, has done through the paving of self-monitoring asphalt concrete test section. The results of research provide a reference and guidance for construction of self-monitoring asphalt concrete in future.

Abstract: The method of preparation of Cu-Ni-Al prealloyed powders were studied in this paper. Cu, Ni, Al were smelted at 1500°C and N2 was chosen as atomizing media to produce the Cu-Ni-Al prealloyed powders. The morphology and particle size distribution of Cu-Ni-Al prealloyed powders were analysis with Scanning electron microscopy; the phase composition of Cu-Ni-Al prealloyed powders were analysis XRD. The results show that the morphology of Cu-Ni-Al prealloyed powders are almost nearly spherical, particle size distribution is very uniform and the average particle size is 39μm. The powders are composed of Cu and AlNi phase.

Abstract: With the self-diagnosis function of the self-monitoring asphalt concrete, we can evaluate the health status of pavement according to feedback on the electrical signals when it is under variation load. In this paper, indirect tensile test and flexural modulus test were used to study the low-temperature properties of self-monitoring asphalt concrete. The test results show that the performance of self-monitoring asphalt concrete has a strong sense of temperature. The result of low-temperature properties provides a reference for the further study of self-monitoring asphalt concrete.

Abstract: Conductive asphalt concrete, a kind of intelligent materials, can serve as asphalt solar collector, asphalt heater and self monitor. And moisture damage is one of the most common performance degradation of asphalt concrete. This paper investigates the volume properties of conductive asphalt concrete based on Freeze-thaw cycles. Marshall specimen was frozen and thawed repeatedly and a cycle consists 16h at -18oC and 8h at 60oC. The change of air void and weight loss ratio were chosen to evaluate the moisture resistance of conductive asphalt concrete. Three types of asphalt mixture (control, CAC 1 and CAC 2) were used to study the effect of initial void and material composition on moisture resistance. The results show that both the framework structures and the material composition have a great effect on antifreeze-thaw property of asphalt concrete, which provides an efficient guidance for application of this technology in pavement.

Abstract: In this paper, Ni-Co alloy films with different composition were obtained by means of electroplating method. The morphology, structure and magnetic properties of Ni-Co alloy films with different Cobalt content are evaluated. The effect of the crystal orientation on the morphology of Ni-Co deposits with different compositon was discussed. The results showed that Ni–Co alloy films with Cobalt content decrease is composed of pyramidal, spindly, mixed pyramidal and spindly, and cellular particles respectively. To the deposits with similar composition, change of morphology is related to the preferential orientation. With the increase of the Nickel content, the saturation magnetization (Ms) value of the Ni–Co alloy films increases and then decreases sharply. The coercivety (Hc) value of the Ni–Co alloy films decreases with the Nickel content increase.
