Abstract: The oscillation behavior was investigated in oscillation reaction system acetone-KBrO3-MnSO4-H2SO4 with Chinese herb medicine Caulophyllum Robustum as substrate. The effects of concentration of substrate, H2SO4, KBrO3, Mn2+ on the period, amplitude and life of oscillation were discussed and the action of each substance in the oscillation system was verified. It provided a new way for herbal medicine identification.

Abstract: Oolitic hematite and limonite in the ore integrate closely with fine particles of collophanite, quartz, chamosite, calcite and chalcedony to form concentric ring structure, making the separation of the minerals extremely difficult. The results indicated that the flotation separation efficiency with most cationic collectors such as dodecylamine, ether amine, GE601 or GE609 was not satisfactory. However, a novel cationic collector for silicon removal, EM506 was found to be specifically selective to separate the gangue minerals from the iron ore with an increase of TFe grade from 49% to more than 58% and a recovery of TFe greater than 96%, which provided a promising approach for the beneficiation of the refractory oolitic hematite ore.

Abstract: As a new type of solid-state light source, LED has many advantages. Its lifetime and lighting effect are related to its thermal performance. In this study the effect of heat sink cooling capacity from factors were researched, and the factors were such as material of heat sink, height of heat sink and the number of fins. It was observed that the cooling capacity of heat sink increases with increasing of thermal conductivity. Copper and silver are not fit for heat sink materials though they have excellent cooling capacity because of their high density and price, while aluminum and its alloy are the better choices. And it was revealed that the cooling capacity of heat sink increases with increasing of the height of fins, but this trend has slowed down when the average height reached 40mm.It was also observed that the cooling capacity of heat sink increases with increasing of the number of fins when fins are less, while the heat sink was higher, the cooling capacity maybe decrease with the increasing of the number of fins.

Abstract: The distribution of maximum equivalent stress on hemp stalks at different roller speeds were scavenged by LS-PREPOST function. The stress and strain distributions of hemp stalk under the transversely even-distributed load are analyzed through ANSYS software. The results show that hemp decortication largely depended on the rotation speed of separation roller and the feeding rate. In addition, the failure degree of bast fiber, the maturity and the water content of the stalk, and the difference in mechanical properties and geometrical size should be also taken into account.

Abstract: A surface wave and 3-dimensional current interaction model is used to reproduce the hydrodynamics in the Bohai Sea (BS). Simulated tidal harmonic constants, wind-driven currents and significant wave heights show reasonable agreements with observations. It is found that the semidiurnal tides are dominant by and large, and the maximum wave height appears in the central basin.

Abstract: Non-linear wave influence is considered in the elliptic mild-slope equation including higher-order terms of water depth, and a non-linear wave mathematical model is derived in which reflection and transmission boundary conditions are involved based on Behrent radiation boundary condition. The model was verified with data obtained from experiment of elliptic shoal topography, and numerical simulation result accord with experiment value well. The model is applied to simulate waves in a permeable breakwater harbor and a sound wave height distribution in the harbor is obtained, can reflect reflection and transmission of the boundary impact on wave condition in the harbor well.

Abstract: The model of WAVEWATCHIII was applied to simulate two consecutive typhoons, number 1104”Haima” and number 1105”Meari”, and then the results of calculations were compared with the buoy data. The results show that under the influence of the typhoon, sea surface wind field and the significant wave height have similar symmetrical structure in the space distribution. In terms of time, with the development of typhoon, changes of the wind speed cause an invisible effect in wave height which explains that the wave height has very strong dependence on the wind speed. The analysis shows that the WAVEWATCHIII can simulate the characteristics of the typhoon wave.

Abstract: As a cylindrical thin-walled container, multilayer bellows has greater bit shift compensation, vibration and noise reduction capabilities while the appropriate metal and viscoelastic damping materials are adopted. Finite element models are adopted to analyze the loss factor of multilayer bellows in ANSYS. The strain energy distribution of Multilayer bellows and viscoelsticity layer are given. According to the strain energy, the influence of structural parameters on the loss factor is studied. The results show that the loss factor can be improved by employing the curved shape with big wave height, small wall thickness, small wave pitch and diameter of bellows.

Abstract: A novel structure of rigid package container (RPC) used in ultra high pressure food processing was presented, due to single and flexible food package occupying large volume and less repeat usage. This new container was designed in details, such as mechanical analysis on sealing process of o-rings and structural optimization on its key components of RPC. Experiments on the sealing properties had proved that this structure was reasonable and reliable in sealing, easy to assembly and disassembly, compact structure and light weight. Thus, the RPC could be applicable in many ultra high pressure vessels in food industry.

Abstract: In order to improve design performance, shorten development cycles, reduce production cost, designed the forklift hydraulic system. By the analysis of the forklift tilting and lifting process, the forklift hydraulic system schematic is made. Based on the schematic, designed and calculated the size and operating parameter of hydraulic cylinder, the pump operating parameter, hydraulic valve operational parameter, hydraulic oil tank effective volume, pipe size, selected the appropriate hydraulic components, and checked the system pressure loss and temperature rise. The results show that the hydraulic system meets the requirements.
