Abstract: The throughput of a mail piece sorting machine is limited by the mechanical capabilities of the machine, and also by the performance of the address reading device. In order to avoid unprocessed mail items leaving the machine, sophisticated throughput control is required. An appropriate control structure is presented here, which is applicable to a general class of transport processes. The approach is based on the classical ideas of time-optimal control and disturbance measurement and feedback.

Abstract: Quadrocopter is an aerial vehicle platform which has become very popular among researchers in the recent past due to the advantages it offers over conventional helicopters. Quadrocopter is very simple structure, but it is inherently unstable from aerodynamics point of view. The first step before the control stage is presenting the adequate modeling of the system dynamic. This paper presents the dynamic model of quadrocopter as regarding to Newtons Laws with kinematic equations. Presented model is simulated with Matlab-Simulink for testing translational and rotational situations. And it is figured out that; presented model is acting like a real quadrocopter. Finally a PID controller designed for stabilize the altitude of modeled quadrocopter.

Abstract: Isometric transformation with geodesic distance is widely used in similarity analysis or 3D retrieval of non-rigid objects. However, geodesic distance is sensitive to topology noise and can be problematic in cases where objects topology is changed locally. In order to solve the problem, a new method based on diffusion map was proposed. We used diffusion map to compute embedded models and utilized thin-plate spline (TPS) to match the embedded models to obtain the similarity error of original objects. The method was tested on some examples, the results show that the new method is suitable to similarity analysis or 3D retrieval of non-rigid objects, moreover, our method is robust to the deformed objects with topology noise.

Abstract: In WSNs, energy efficiency is one of the most important factors to influence its performance, and well designed routing algorithm can obviously improve the energy efficiency. Because data-centric routing algorithm is easy to be deployed and has more robust in application, many new algorithms are proposed based on this type. In this paper, some typical existing routing algorithms are analyzed, and the characters of these algorithms are introduced. According to these analyses an energy aware data-centric routing algorithm named EADC is proposed. In EADC, the nodes residual energy is considered when transmitting route is selected. And to ensure nodes energy information acute, a special package head and a link storing neighbor nodes are defined to update nodes energy information when transmitting message. Through these designs, the route can be dynamic adjusted to make the energy consumption more reasonable. At last, EADC is compared with other typical routing algorithms in a series of experiments, and the experiments result proves that EADC has obviously improved the WSNs energy efficiency.

Abstract: Beginning with studying the characteristics of the war from a complex system, the limitations of rule-based reasoning approach was discussed, case-based reasoning to the integrated reasoning mechanism was supplemented. In accordance with epistemological, researched on case-based reasoning mechanism of integration and components of decision model, studied feature vector based case representation and matrix representation of non-isomorphic case set, presented a case retrieval method based on feature.

Abstract: We proposed overall design of the visualization browsing map data in network environment in this paper. And we developed map data flow according to the data structure and attributes of map data base. We programmed one map display control, MapCtrl.ocx, with GUI in the specific implementation. It could browse the map by utilizing map data base and self-designed map symbol base. Furthermore, we detailed the specific process of programming the control and the related techniques, such as component technique, data exchange technique and display technique. We developed a prototype of map data visualization browsing system based on ActiveX in network environment, which could achieve several functions such as browsing vector graphics of map data on internet, operation and simple query and analysis.

Abstract: The study of intentional attackshas become an important issue onthe research of complex networks. In this paper, we study the resilience of networks, introducing the parameters that describe the attacks effect and the parameters that measure the priority of intentional attacks. Weestablish analgorithm to analysis the intentional attack phenomenon and present the numerical simulation.

Abstract: Because of the insufficient teaching hours and the limited time for practice reading in a classroom, using internet can eliminate the restriction of when and where to teach. Through the publishing and broadcasting functions of the new online broadcasting media, podcast, teachers and students can post and share their reading experiences, which can supplement the insufficient reading instruction in a classroom. The objective of this study is to examine the effect of applying podcast, the educational broadcasting media, to reading instruction. From the students checkout records and the results of the survey, the conclusions derived are: 1. Incorporating podcasting in reading instruction has a positive impact on students reading behaviors. 2. Incorporating podcasting in reading instruction sparks students curiosity and motivates them to learn. 3. Student checked out at libraries more often. 4. Incorporating podcasting in reading makes students love reading.

Abstract: This paper has designed a 5.25 GHz low noise amplifier. We used a low noise field effect tube (ATF36077) to design two slopes of low noise amplifier which improved the gain, and used a cross junction structure to make the input matching circuit. Besides, the amplifier enhanced the stability of the circuit through adding the microstrip in the source of 36077 as a negative feedback. The measurement results show in the 4.9 GHz to 5.3 GHz frequency band, low noise amplifier gain is 21 dB, less noise factor is less than 2 dB, and bandwidth is about 400MHz.

Abstract: The paper shortly illustrates the general concept of Reverse Engineering, which includesalso the 3D scanning. In the main part of the paper the concrete 3D scanning process of chosen individual objects are described. The problems that occurred during 3D digitizing of individual parts are step by step discussed and solved. The paper deals with 3D scanning of ball nose end mills and screw drill. The article gives a procedure for digitizing and comparing the results of the scanned digital models of the two ball nose end mills and screw drill.
