Abstract: This article presents the method determining the motion trajectory of the bucket on the side dump bucket loader MVC E500-1 during the materials digging by the combinative method. The kinematic equations of the working equipment are established in order to determine the location of the special points on the bucket at different times, from that the necessary space for the machine to safely and effectively operate in the tunnel can be determine. The preliminary obtained results of the present work can be used for reference in the design and application of the Side Dump Bucket Loader MVC E500-1 in tunnel construction by the exploding-drilling method.

Abstract: Contour turning is a specific process of the machining on CNC lathes. In the finishing operation, to create the part profile, the turning tool must be moved in a trajectory of a complex flat curve (a toolpath) based on the part profile . The variation of feedrate vector on the toolpath according to the part profile in the machining process will results in changing dynamic geometric parameters of the cutting tool, which affects cutting conditions and machined part quality. This article presents the results of theoretical studies on the influence of part geometry on rake angle, clearance angle, approach angle and end cutting-edge angle of the turning tool. Based on the theoretical development, the authors also set up mathematical expressions that allow to define gouge-free cutting condition and the limit of feedtate for contour turning. An empirical model to define the influence of part geometry on the roughness of the part when countour turning on CNC lathe is also presented in this report.

Abstract: In the summer of 2014, the air-conditioning performance of four different snow-utilizing facilities in Niigata and Nagano Prefectures in Japan were evaluated. Systems with a snow storeroom, a rice depot and spa resort, showed the advantages of stable and flexible air temperature control with high deodorizing and dedusting effects. The investment will be earned back in less than 10 years. The system with a snow mound, shiitake mushroom greenhouses, showed that the annual cost is cheaper than that of the heat pump unit. A highway lavatory with daily snow delivery was not cost effective.

Abstract: Continuous improvement of productivity and quality is a potential requirement of any competitive organization. Lean six-sigma is known as the useful and popular method to do it. In this paper, a case study in the mechanical manufacturing process would be presented as a successful implementation. The seven quality control tools would be integrated in specific systematic steps of the PDCA cycle and DMAIC process, and lean technology. The case study shows the promising results on improvement of productivity and quality of a mechanical production line. It could be considered to implement for other production or assembly line in other fields such as electronic assembly line, garment line, and furnitune assembly line.

Abstract: It can be easily guessed that food issue will be the next upcoming global issue for humans considering the current situation of drastic increase of world human population. Asia is one of the regions which is specifically famous and popular for agricultural production, therefore the important role of Asia to play to the world may be the increase of food production and the supply for feeding the people facing to hunger and poverty. The author proposed the project named Asia Food Project attached with Asia Techno Farm Initiative, practical OJT (On the Job Training) program to achieve the final goal of making Asia as the world food pantry and to create the original Asia food brand.
In this paper the importance of applying high technology based smart agriculture consisting of mainly precision agriculture, robotics and green factory is discussed as the important program content including the achievement process how to follow the steps of proposed procedure,.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to researching basic methods of line balancing used widely in operations. Particularly, five basic methods including Longest task time, Shortest task time, Most following tasks, Least following task, Ranked positional weighted are researched. Then they are applied in balancing the assembly line of an automobile manufacturing company. The results show the comparisons of advantages and disadvantages of each method based on total idle time and efficiency index. Firstly, idle time is the waiting time or non-working time of the workers while they are still paid their enough salary. Moreover, the waiting time makes an unfair between workers - some people work more and some work less. Secondly, efficiency in the workplace is the time it takes to do something. Efficient employees and managers complete tasks in the least amount of time possible with the least amount of resources possible by utilizing certain time-saving strategies. The calculations are performed to create these two values and graphs are drawn with the support of excel softwares.

Abstract: Industry is one of the most important energy consumption sectors. In the world, industry sector accounts for almost a third of energy consumption (28.3%, in 2012) [1]. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce: “Sustainable manufacturing is the creation of manufactured products through economically-sound processes that minimize negative environmental impacts while conserving energy and natural resources”. Nowadays, due to different environmental issues: the deficit of energy resources, the growing concern of the carbon emission, the environment impact... the awareness of energy consumption takes its important in manufacturing industries. In a manufacturing system, production machine is one of the basis energy consumed devices. In order to achieve the long-term goal "sustainable manufacturing", it is necessary then to take into account the energy efficiency of production machine [2]. In fact, increasing energy efficiency of production machine allows to reduce not only energy costs but also the overall environmental impact. Energy efficiency evaluation of production machine is therefore one of the prerequisites for energy saving in manufacturing [3]. In order to support designers during the design phase of the next production machine generation, in this paper, the principal objective is to propose a method to evaluate energy efficiency of a production machine.

Abstract: Green transportation has emerged as an efficient way to promote a sustainable supply chain. Transportation activities have significant impact on the whole supply chain at any decision levels. At an operational level, vehicle routing decisions are one of the most critical determinants of the release of transportation emissions. Therefore, this study develops a mathematical model, with an aim to construct routes that simultaneously minimize total cost and total CO2 emissions from the transportation activities of a case study located in Can Tho City, Vietnam. A multiple-objective model with the consideration of different vehicle loading capacity, and time windows is then solved using a Weighted Tchebycheff method. Results show that route selection has a positive contribution toward a better balance between economic and environmental objectives.
