Abstract: Simulation of the common application environment of furniture were carried out, effects of different processing methods, storage time and airtight time were investigated. The results showed that the longer storage time or shorter airtight time was, the lower formaldehyde emission was. While the shedding of edge banding and metal connecting parts would increase the formaldehyde emission.

Abstract: The formaldehyde emission test of MDF decorated with a paper sheet impregnated thermosetting resin was done under the simulated indoor conditions. The results showed that formaldehyde emission decreases after being placed under the condition of high temperature and relative humidity. In addition, the formaldehyde emission of medium density fiberboard with paper impregnated thermosetting resins (MDFPs) increases along with the increase of furniture-bearing ratio.

Abstract: In order to control the coal spontaneous combustion, a new material to restrain coal spontaneous combustion was researched in this paper. Through the platform of experimental was built, and the material was released by water mist, the characteristics of new material and water mist was used, and then researched the change concentration of O2, CO and CO2 in experimental platform under this new material, the change of temperature in different parts of burning space. As the same time, we contrast studied added material or not when the coal spontaneous combustion, the data and phenomenon were analyzed in experimental and the mechanism of restraining was put. This studies show that the material has good effect with restraining when adding this material by water mist to coal spontaneous combustion.

Abstract: With the rapid development of Chinese economy, the thermal power requirement is increasing not only in industry but also for the civil use in recent years. In China, the main fuel of thermal power is coal. Coal handling system places the consequence in the whole generate electricity system and has significant meaning to the power plant operation. The coal handling system of the thermal power plants has many types of equipment. The environment is vile with complicated control. If we control this system through manual mode, there will appear the imponderable questions. This article through the research of the coal handling system by the management of PLC can determine the long-term safe operation and reduce a mass of human power and material resources. It has the fundamental practical meaning and research value.

Abstract: Product design is a multi-perspective group decision making process which has the different viewpoints together to create the solutions among stakeholders. In product design process, every stakeholder has his/her own subjective characteristics and variable perspectives which reflect his/her understandings of design objects. The perspective relationships between stakeholders will directly influence the speed of achieving solutions, which in turn affect design time and efficiency. By analyzing the similarity relationships between the participants' perspectives, this paper constructs perspective network model and applies structure matrix to develop perspective relationships. This paper focuses on incorporating perspectives into design process and developing the approaches to make decisions support for the optimal design solutions considering stakeholders’ perspectives. Finally, an example is used to demonstrate that perspective network model can analyze the impacts of perspectives on the solution.

Abstract: The latest research adopted software technology to redesign mouse drive, and proposed an Automatic Pointing Assistive Program (APAP) to evaluate whether two children with developmental disabilities and people with disabilities would be able to improve their pointing efficiency. The APAP is designed to move a cursor to a target instantaneously once the cursor nears a target (inside the activation area). However, the evaluation of latest researches focused only on people with disabilities. This work exhaustively examined the cursor-capturing functions in a target-positioning task with APAP. The APAP functions are expected to help aged users and novices in operating a mouse efficiently and easily.
