Abstract: In this work, we are interested in the faults diagnosis and the faults prognosis in discrete event systems described by sequences of generated events. Through this work, we aim the maximization of the efficiency of diagnosis/prognosis operations by combining two concepts. The first one is the approach already developed in one of our works which consider the k-last generated events to perform the diagnosis/prognosis. The second concept is the reliability that takes into consideration the life cycle of each component of the discrete event systems to give the failure probability. This combination will be made using some notions of fuzzy logic.

Abstract: This work focuses on the development of an Error Detection Instrument (EDI), applicable in aircraft maintenance operations. Thirteen aircraft maintenance tasks were identified and used to develop the EDI. The EDI was validated by four professionals presently employed in different aviation organizations within and outside Nigeria. The study data was collected via careful observations of two maintenance activities such as landing gear maintenance and engine oil servicing using two trained research assistants. Qualitative data analysis was conducted by comparing collected data against the approved procedures as well as maintenance manual and the result of the study revealed the occurrence of errors during inspection, cleaning/lubrication, training, troubleshooting and documentation tasks. The safety implications of the tracked errors were adequately discussed. It is recommended that the EDI should be incorporated into the maintenance document and quality control process of Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs).

Abstract: The digital transformation represents across the globe a new stage in the profound economic and social reorganization, that has been engaged for several decades under the effect of information technology [1]. Digital transformation (DT) is the use of digital advances to change customer relationships, internal processes, and value propositions [2]. The biggest future impact on revenue and EBIT growth can be generated through the digitization of supply chains [3]. In this context, the present paper proposes to apply digital transformation to supply chain, and especially to “order to cash” cycle, through an experimentation of the “Supply Chain Urbanization” model (SCU) [4, 5]. We will start in this paper by presenting the “order to cash” cycle according to various references; we will next emphasize Digital transformation before highlighting the “Digital transformation in “order to cash” cycle. We will after illuminate the different phases of the “Supply Chain Urbanization” model (SCU) [4, 5], and then experiment this model on supply chain digital transformation. The "Order to Cash" cycle will be the main link in the supply chain studied in our article.

Abstract: This paper deals with the integration of the cost of food quality COFQ in decision-making on storage and transportation conditions through a food supply chain. We propose a quantitative model which formulates the Cost of Food Quality COFQ across the food supply chain according to the classical model PAF. Results obtained using CPLEX are illustrated with numerical examples to highlight the impact of quality parameters such as cooling cost and transportation cost factor on total cost of the Food Supply Chain (FSC), and thus to show how consideration of quality costs may lead to increased efficiency and cost saving of the food supply chain.

Abstract: Fast fashion trends are changing in nonstop. Brands are consequently faced to big challenges. Processes must be fluent, while costs must be optimized within all the constraints. This article is a literature review, about the fast fashion process engineering challenges, from production to retail. We explore a review analysis of the main problematic nodes, of the whole chain, that retailers focus on to improve their productivity and profit. We examine the literature review of solutions proposed to these problems. Finally we propose the untapped fields, and the potential research scopes to work on in future.
