Abstract: In this paper, 347H stainless steel of three situation of solution, primary and secondary stabilizing with 0, 12, 24, 48 and 72 h accelerated sensitization heat treatment. The change of sensitization degree with time was studied by metallographic test, double-loop electrochemical potentiodynamic reactivation (DL-EPR) test, intergranular corrosion test and microscopic morphology observation. The result shows that the sensitization degree of the solution material increases rapidly and reaches the maximum value after 12h sensitization heat treatment. After that, it still belonged to severe sensitization situation, but the index gradually decreased. After stabilizing heat treatment, the sensitization degree of the material is lower than the situation of solution. After heat treatment for 48h, the material located on “possible sensitization” range, and the sensitization degree of the secondary stabilized material was always lower than is of the primary. It indicates that the sensitization of materials can not be completely inhibited by stabilizing heat treatment, and other anti-corrosion measures should be considered.

Abstract: A Ni60/Ni-WC composite coating was fabricated by the plasma spraying technology and microstructure of the coating was analyzed. Moreover, erosion resistance of the coating under different erosion angles was tested. Results demonstrated that the coating has lamellar structures and contain some pores. WC particles distribute evenly in the coating and bond well with the parent phase. When the erosion angle increase, the weight loss of the erosion-induced coating increases firstly and then decreases, showing plastic-brittle composite erosion characteristics.

Abstract: Sea water resources are extensive and can be used to extinguish fires, but their corrosiveness is a major problem. Using the method of electrochemical workstation, the electrochemical corrosion behavior of aluminum sheet in artificial sea water solution and silica-coated artificial seawater was studied; by analyzing the surface morphology, polarization curve and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, the electrochemical corrosion behavior of aluminum sheets under different immersion times and different immersion media is obtained. The conclusion is that the coating of nanosilica powder has a certain corrosion protection effect on artificial seawater.

Abstract: In this paper, the physical and chemical analysis method was used to analyze the leakage of a regeneration gas heater device accident. The result shows that this device was heated seriously at local area, and oxidized severely. The carbon content around the leakage is obviously lower than the limit of standard, and the grain deformation at crack tip of the leakage is obvious. It shows that reason of device failure is caused by typical plastic Instability, and low carbon content leads to insufficient mechanical properties at high temperature. According to data from manufacturer, the unreasonable arrangement of thermo-couples may be the root cause of this leakage. It can be considered that replace the higher grade materials conservatively, while optimizing the arrangement of thermo-couples.
