Samples taken from the roof of the KIT are selected to represent the KIT which is an open terrain adjacent to a heavily trafficked road and without high-rise buildings.
Among the measured VOCs, benzene has been identified as human carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer [7].
Cancer risks of benzene in KIT and WP3 area are higher than that in other three measured sites, which is not only affected by emission of benzene in industrial areas, but there are large traffic flows in WP3 area, and main traffic artery is very close to KIT area.

In this paper, it was made a pilot survey that was applied only in the bus transport system, because in recent years considerable investments have been made for the acquisition of modern vehicles with the latest technology and having a low level of emissions (additionally were modernized the waiting stations and were updated the applications for traffic monitoring).
