Introduction Shape memory alloys (SMA) have a number of unique properties such as shape memory effect (SME), super elasticity effect (SE) and biocompatibility, which make shape memory alloys have been used in various fields like civil engineering, medical and bionics.
To study the SMAs sheet with a round hole on the flat board, in particular, the stress distribution around the hole, as well as phase-change study, whether in basic mechanical research or engineering applications are very meaningful.
Although some two-dimensional constitutive laws were investigated, such as the Boyd and Lagoudas model for SMAs[6], they are too complicated in expression and difficult in the determination of parameters to apply easily in engineering and need to be improved or simplified for further application in the future.

Abstract.
Fig. 1 Multi-ribbed composite slab shear resistant mechanism Considering the consistency with corresponding theory in relevant codes in civil engineering, the expression doesn't involve bars in gridiron column.
Based on the analyses under six modes loads by FEM and results through practical expression, reliability index of shear bearing capacity of wall by first order /second-moment method under earthquake can meet the demand of relevant codes in civil engineering.

Abstract.
Application of sediments as a component in civil engineering In this study, coarse-grained sediments were used as a partial substitute of natural aggregate (fraction 0-4 mm) and fine-grained sediments collected by the dam were used as a partial cement replacement in concrete production.
Based on the study of physical and chemical properties of sediments, they were used as a component in civil engineering.
