Fine-analysis for the Concrete upper Rotation Table and Pier of a Bridge using Rotation Construction Method Fanxin Jia1, a, Dewei Chen1, b and Yangyang Wu1, c 1Department of Bridge and Tunnel engineering, School of Civil Engineering, Tongji University, Shanghai, China a081945_jiafanxin@tongji.edu.cn, b83086@tongji.edu.cn, ctienong0817@sina.com Keywords: rotation construction method; upper rotation table; pier; solid element.
A solid element model of the concrete upper rotation table and pier was established adopting the Midas/Civil Software, considering four unfavorable conditions including eccentric load effects.
Fig.3 Model of solid elements in Midas/Civil In this paper, we choose the rotating mechanism with a 2.51 meters high pier and establish a model of solid elements adopting software Midas/Civil (Fig. 3).

Health Condition Prognostics of Complex Equipment Based on Discrete Input Process Neural Networks Ding Ganga, Lei Dab and Yao Weic School of Mechatronics Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, Heilongjiang, P.R.
Civil aircraft engines are typical complex equipment and their health conditions are crucial to the aviation safety.
Because of the development and application of health monitoring techniques, airlines can get abundant parameters that represent the health condition of civil aircraft engines, such as exhausted gas temperature (EGT) and fuel flow.
Thus, NN and PNN can be used to model the health degradation of the civil aircraft engines.
And in this section, the DPNN proposed is adopted to predict the future health condition of the civil aircraft engines through the prediction of the EGT time series.

Introduction Reinforced concrete structure is widely used in current engineering construction, especially in industry and civil construction.
In such cases, in view of large investment for civil engineering, demolition and reconstruction often will not be on, but need to enhance the structure, reinforcement, alteration and maintenance measures[1].
In the fifties and sixties of twentieth century, a large number of industrial plants, public buildings and civil constructions are built in China.
Engineering practice shows that the method used in this paper is simple, effective, safe and reliable.
And there is important guiding significance to project for engineering designers.
