The experimental results showed that, despite substantial differences of proteins' chemistry and structure, there is generally an analogous behavior of milk- and BSA-containing solutions with regard to the crystallization of calcium phosphates, and particularly the suppression of crystallization of calcium phosphate and the co-precipitation of the calcium phosphate with organic compounds, most likely proteins.

Light microscopy showed appearance of LIPSS (light-induced periodic surface structure) under the ablation threshold.
Changes in surface chemistry, surface tension and roughness induced by the LASER treatment may explain this result (Fig. 6).
In addition, we have shown that one of the most important and interesting results is the modification of surface tension with an significant hydrophilic increase, and subsequently a change of surface chemistry by the appearance of -OH groups and other chemical groups such as oxides, hydroxides and inorganic ions (- OPO3H2, Mg ++, Ca ++) needed for an optimal cell adhesion and subsequently cell proliferation via the extracellular matrix molecules [8].
